Beach Hacks to Decrease Headaches and Increase Fun

Beach hacks are hot right now all across the web, and why wouldn’t they be? We are smack in the middle of prime beach weather. And while the beach is a great place to spend the day, it can wreak havoc on you and your stuff if you aren’t careful. Between the sand and the water, the beach can be a dangerous place for property, especially when it comes to electronics. As a beach lover, I decided to bring my readers my top beach hacks to make any day at the beach better.

Beach Hacks to Save Your Stuff and Your Sanity

So what is the purpose of these hacks? I mean, really. You have a ginormous beach bag already. What more do you need? Well, loyal reader, I’m glad you asked! Let me share the top 5 ways to make beach going easier that you might not have ever thought of.

Ziploc Safety for Tech

Ziploc bags are great for snacks, but they can also protect your tech while you’re at the beach. Put your phone in a Ziploc bag to protect it from sand and water. You can also use a gallon sized bag for tablets. AND you can use them through the plastic.

Protect Your Money with the Power of Eww

You can protect your money by rolling it up and placing in inside an empty pad wrapper. It will look like a used pad and not a wad of cash. NO ONE is ever going to swipe a pad. You can also store keys, money, and other valuables in a rolled up diaper – clean, of course – for the same effect.

Stay Cool with a Dripless Icepack

You can stay cool at the beach by making your own dripless icepack. Thoroughly soak a sponge and place it in a baggie. Then freeze it overnight before your trip. Throw it in your drink cooler, and you’ve got an instant cool down that won’t drip everywhere.

Pamper Your Skin After the Beach

Before heading out to the beach make a try of aloe vera ice cubes. If you’re applying sunscreen properly, you won’t need these for a sunburn, but your skin will still thank you for the cooling, nourishing treatment when you get back.

Easily Remove Sand with Baby Powder

Is there anything worse than trying to get sand off of your body? No. No there isn’t. But wait! Now there is. After a day at the beach, rub baby powder on your body to easily remove sand. Baby powder removes moisture, allowing you to easily brush the sound off.

Beach Hacks can Make a Day at the Beach So Much Better

These are just a few of the many hacks you can find out there, but I wanted to give you my top 5 that not many people think of. With these hacks, you can protect your stuff and yourself from the rigors of the beach that accompany all the fun.

Such great tips! I especially LOVE the ideas of storing valuables in a clean rolled up diaper – GENIUS! I’m definitely going to ask me sister for a couple for our next beach trip.
