Now that would allow my daughter to attend school but since this school doesn’t exist I will continue to Homeschool my special needs daughter so that I know her needs are being meet

I’m a grade 6 teacher. Do you need one of those at your school? Because I believe in what you’re saying…and I hope for things like this everyday! I have always said, if I win a huge lottery, I would like to open a private school with my own mission and vision.
My heart aches for our special needs friends. We just don’t seem to have the money, resources, and specialized training they deserve.

I know exactly what you are saying and going through. My one special needs daughter has been struggling for a few weeks and I have been told that its my fault and I need to make changes.
My special needs son has been struggling since Nov and they have him on a reduced day and still havent realised that he needs more supports. Today his SK class went on a trip and because he doesnt have the proper supports in the morning he struggled and they banned him from going on the trip. He got to watch his classmates leave without him and stay behind just to watch tv. They didnt prepare for this trip, they didnt take into consideration that because he is working at a 3 year olds level that he may need more than one on one that going to the mall to see Santa he may need a stroller.
I am so tired and being a single Mom doesnt help with getting breaks or even finding solutions.
