We used to do similar with our kids and have great memories from those fun days.
We love apples too, but I must admit I have heard of Apple Pandowdy, but have never made it. Will definitely be giving this recipe a try very soon. (Wish we had Gay Lea butter here in the Maritimes, it sounds yummy and love that it is in convenient sticks!)

I only buy Gay Lea sticks since I first tried them. I love how convenient they are and how wonderful it is to have everything pre-measured for baking.
