The theory that the site may have been designed to create or predict eclipses is really fascinating, especially how it may have connected people to the cosmos. It’s amazing that something this mysterious has survived for thousands of years. Now I’m even more excited to see it in person when we visit!

Ha, yes this year has been the hottest summer we’ve had in ages. It sounds like you had a great visit. I agree with using a tour group as it isn’t always fun driving in a foreign country.
