Shea Butter Anti-Frizz Balm – For Frizzy Hair

Honestly my youngest daughter and I are always on the prowl for new products that help moisturize our hair, while also detangling and helping hair look good and stay in great condition. This year, which seems to be extra dry, we are trying some home made DIY projects here for skin and hair care. This week we tried DIY shea butter anti-frizz balm.

Frizzy, tangled hair is a result of the outer cuticle lifting up and not laying flat and smooth. To avoid making frizz in your hair worse, avoid brushing it when it is dry, as this damages the hair cuticle.

( I only brush my hair wet in the shower when conditioning. It’s the only way it works for me. ) Shea butter is nourishing and moisturizing. Apply to the hair and work the balm all the way down into the roots. This balm is also excellent for split ends and protects the hair by protecting it with a shiny layer.

Makes 90 ml
