Are you always seeking ideas for more guided crafts for kids? Yes, me too. I think I may have mentioned this to some of you but my girls are crafters. My youngest loves to draw and clip and glue and cut and paste and construct things. My older daughter was a three year old craft monster when I finally signed her up for a pre-school of the arts so she could get more time being creative. I was no match for her energy and inspiration. This is a child who still to this day, at the age of 13, stops me on the way to the recycling bin and says: “don’t put that there I can use it to craft.” She’s like the MacGuyver of crafts.

Anyways, every single festive occasion is also another opportunity to craft up a storm. So why not? My girls will be thrilled to do some of these adorable crafts. I have actually seen my older child already make the DIY button hair clip. Her new favourite social media channel is Pinterest. Why? Because she’s a crafter. And she makes the cutest stuff with some help from Pinterest. I myself enjoy the occasional craft but I would much rather bake. That’s my fun creative side. Baking, writing, reading, travelling.

Which of these Fun and Easy St. Patrick’s Day crafts will you try? I love the handprint and hair clip too.

So many great crafts! I think I am going to make the hair bows though so we can be sure to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. Thank you for linking up at This Is How We Roll Thursday.

I like the hand leprechaun the best, it seems really easy and my kids love to use their hands as outlines on many crafts.

I am not a crafter at all but my daughter in law is. Pinterest is her favorite source of inspiration and she and her friends have PInterest parties where they work on a craft. I think she’d live the DIY Clover mints one

I could have used these ideas when my kids were little, I was never very crafty, I too was the baker. But I did attempt to make the boys some cute play outfits on my sewing machine.

Such wonderful craft ideas! I’m sure my family would enjoy them all. I especially love the hair clip and the pom poms.

I’m going to go with the Leprechaun handprints. That takes me back to First Grade, when we explored a similar path with the craft you do to make a handprint Thanksgiving turkey!

I am not very crafty, but I may have to see if I can convince my kids to try some of these with me this year. Their crafts usually turn out better than mine, which they usually really enjoy.

The first craft that caught my eye was the DIY Clover Mints. They look awesome! It does look like a lot of work though and I can see why you split it up over several days. They turned out great!

As avid reader, I think I would go with the $1 DIY: St. Patrick’s Day Bookmarks (Mama of 3 Munchkins) ~ I I love the idea of using those paint shade things from hardware and home improvement centers!

All of the ideas are fun and imaginative ~ so I went ahead, Tweeted and Pinned your post. Thanks.
