Fast Slow Pro from Breville Makes Dinner Easier than Ever

The Fast Slow Pro is my favourite new kitchen toy. I have been eyeing up the Breville Canada Fast Slow Pro for awhile now. But I was waiting to decide if I could truly make use of this or not. Honestly the idea of pressure cooking intimidated me at first. This past month we added this to our weekly meal planning routine and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

The Breville Fast Slow Pro is the name of the combination pressure cooker and slow cooker from Breville, and it does exactly what its name says. The Fast Slow Pro allows you to get the most flavor out of food using several different cooking methods in one convenient kitchen appliance. That’s important for me because I hate cluttering up my counters and I love Breville Canada kitchen gadgets.

Fast Slow Pro Fits My Life

If you’re anything like me – and you probably are – your kids are in after school activities. You’re constantly on the move, and you’re often running late. And when you finally DO get home, the last thing you want to do is dive into a bunch of cooking. That’s why I love this combination pressure cooker and slow cooker from Breville. It allows me to get a delicious dinner on the table without stressing too much over time.

The Breville Fast Slow Pro has helped us level up our cooking game. I am by no means MasterChef ready, but I am mastering my own kitchen again and loving the results from the newest addition to our kitchen. For our first meal in the Breville Fast Slow Pro appliance we chose a recipe in the accompanying booklet. Whole  Lemon and Herb Chicken, with a reduction at the end of the cook. WE really wanted to try that reduction setting and I am warning you it is outrageously good.

Just follow the instructions and you will be on your way to scrumptious meals!

This multicooker with pressure and slow cook menus automatically adjusts time, temperature, and pressure between fast and slow cooking. Dual sensors at the top and bottom of the cooker monitor ingredients for accurate temperature and pressure control, and the hands free steam release automatically adjusts itself across all types of foods for maximum flavor and texture. It is a smart appliance that does some of the thinking for you!

All of that means makes the Fast Slow Pro a dinner super hero, and it takes me FAR less time than it used to. If that’s not a winning combo, nothing is! So far, we have done two chickens in here and I have steamed vegetables as well. That’s three different meals. This little powerhouse can actually reduce, sauté, and sear in addition to pressure and slow cooking. So I sear the chicken first and then pressure cook. Remove the chicken and then reduce to create a spectacular reduction for the meat.

Breville Fast Slow Pro – Run the Kitchen Like a Boss

Currently, I’d rate the dinner status here lately as approaching Super Hero level, and part of that is owed to the Breville Fast Slow Pro. Using this beauty we have served and enjoyed some amazing chicken dinners this past month. I aim to make meals here instead of buying them out, especially when we are busy. Cooking at home is healthier and with the Breville Fast Slow Pro it is incredibly flavourful. I am getting more confident every day with the Breville Fast Slow Pro.

I received a Breville Fast Slow Pro for purposes of this post. My opinion is all my own and it is also truthful. I highly recommend this for Mother’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, or Christmas presents this year.

It sounds like the Fast Slow Pro would be a great addition to any busy family! Saving time in the kitchen is always nice on busy weeknights and only one pot to make a meal!!

I love my slow cooker, but I agree that sometimes you don’t have six hours to wait for dinner to be ready. Breville’s Fast Slow Pro is a great option for those who want the benefits of slow cooking, but don’t want to wait forever for meals to be ready. The chicken looks yummy!

I have the Instant Pot and this looks very similar. I love these pressure cooker/slow cooker combination appliances! It takes the fear out of pressure cookers for me and I use it everyday. I love Breville products in general bc they are very reliable!

I had NO idea you could get a combination cooker but consider me newly obsessed. I only have a slow cooker, but I’ve been thinking about instant pots and pressure cookers. I think this would make an excellent Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift in my household!

Oh yes, I need this in my life! With the busy schedule I have I would love to be able to slow cook a few meals with the Fast Slow Pro . I have seen so many recipes on Pinterest I would like to try!

I love my slow cooker, but lately I’ve been hearing so many good things about pressure cookers. I didn’t know you could get a combo item – that seems so much smarter than having 2 separate appliances. II think I might have to get one!

This looks similar to the Instant Pot, but I have neither of them. I keep seeing so many recipes for these, so I guess I need to jump on the bandwagon and get one. Your chicken looks like it turned out really good.

This reminds me of the Instant Pot. While I’ve yet to get one .. I know a crazy amount of people who have and absolutely love it. In fact .. our neighbor said we could borrow hers so I’m going to try a pot roast this weekend. Wish me luck!

I have wanted a pressure cooker for so long. I had one years and years ago, but it was so “old school”. I live in the States, but my oldest daughter lives in Upstate NY, so getting to Canada to shop isn’t a big deal for her. I am so going to have her ssee if she can get one for me!

  • Erica

Okay, first – that chicken looks amazing! I am seriously drooling over here. Second, why do I not yet own one of these Fast Slow Pros? I think the time has finally come to just take the leap – I have seen some fantastic recipes using this!

This sounds like something that I need in my life. It would be so much easier to cook a cornish hen in this than using the old fashion oven. I have to check into this for real as it may be an investment that I need to make. With three kids cooking needs to be as simple as possible.
