Five Things You Need This Victoria Day Long Weekend #ChurchandDwight

Oh summer, you beautiful season you. You are my favourite, and always will be. We are well into May which means it’s almost the Victoria Day long weekend!! Every Canadian anywhere in the world right now knows the significance of the May long weekend. It’s the way we jumpstart summer and bring on the fun.

This Victoria Day long weekend I am hoping like mad that the new pool liner will be installed and ready to go. Summer at our house involves the pool. Summer brings some travel opportunities and maybe a little bit of cottage time. But it revolves around the pool and the outdoors. What will you be upto this Victoria Day long weekend?

Here are a few of the things I can’t live without in the summer.

My Five Victoria Day weekend must haves:

  1. A pool or a beach or maybe even a campsite. However you celebrate make it count with your family and friends.
  2. Sunscreen – stay covered in the summer, spring and sometimes even the fall when you need the protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Be safe.
  3. Maybe you want to get physical. I know I will be getting back to doing laps in the pool and that makes me happy, but it can also potentially awaken some different muscles, which means I might need a bit of Try Rub A535™ Extra Strength to ease those aches and pains. Maybe you are a hiker. I love a good hike with my family especially when we are travelling. Readers Digest has put together an amazing list of the best hiking in Canada. Canada is also home to some amazing family friendly hiking spots. The Gold Creek Falls trail in Vancouver, B.C. or Webster Falls trail in Hamilton, Ont., are both great examples of outdoor trails that you can tackle with your kids.

  4. TRAVEL – Listen travel is a must in the summer. Even if you don’t travel by plane or train you are pretty likely to be taking a car ride at some point the summer. If you are not comfortable with the winding car rides that often occur when escaping the city, throw some Gravol™ in your bag. Gravol™ Ginger Liquid Gels are easy to swallow, non-drowsy and will help prevent any motion sickness on long car rides – ensuring you are ready to explore!

    5. The unofficial start of summer and family hikes also mean short season is upon us. I don’t know about you, but I live in a home where three of us are female. We are loving these Nair™ Wax READY-STRIPS. These ready to use strips are simple and convenient, just place and peel! Most importantly they will leave your legs looking smooth and summer ready!

What are you and your family planning on doing for the May long weekend?

Gravel and Rub A535 are a must for me right now, so I’ll for sure keep them handy this weekend! Can hardly believe its Victoria Day weekend coming up! That came quick! i’m not sure it will be warm enough for a beach or pool though!

I am originally born and raised in Toronto Ontario Canada and I can not find gravel any where I swear by it and when I asked the pharmacist here in Michigan about it they looked at me funny. I have not been able to find anything similar either other then ginger ale and ginger tea. They do make a motion sickness med but it makes me sleepy where gravol does not.
Happy May24 and have lots of bbq fun and enjoy the fireworks. The Rub A535 is not nearly the same here either I use this other kind of cream I use it for my ankle and around my back.
Happy Victoria Day my fellow Canadian 🙂

My bones are already aching just thinking about May Long and hiking! It’s a good thing I’ve got same Rub-A-535 in lavender so it smells awesome and relieves my pain 😉

We are on a trip right now and I could have used some Gravol on the ride up. I definitely need to pick some up before the trip home.

We will be having our usual family gathering on Victoria Day. My family will be the host this year, so I know we will be in for a lot of fun. I’m starting to buy the stuff I need, and of course, Rub 535 Extra Strength will be in my grocery list!

This is the first time that I have heard of this holiday but I am all in for celebrating it even if I don’t live in Canada! 😉 I am going to have to give those Nair strips a try and see how they work for me. Welcome summer!

Rub A535 has been my go to product for sore muscles for years now. It always makes me feel better. This long weekend we are planning on going to visit my parents who live a few hours away.

I think you have had a wonderful weekend during Victoria day celebration & the pictures are super exciting. I would definitely want a pack of Rub A535 as I get in to muscle pains frequently & this could be a great support during my fun trips.
