gummy_xmas

Several months ago I reviewed Gummy Drop app here because it had just launched on iPad and iPhone. I remember this one well. It was a Match 3 free app that was a lot of fun. I enjoyed that it included a trip around the world, and a geography theme that I found engaging and educational. Today Big Fish’s fastest growing mobile app is now available for Android. Gummy Drop scored high on the gaming charts across all territories. Now this crowd-pleasing free app is available in the Amazon and GooglePlay app stores.  All mobile players can access the free app now. Read on to find out how you can win a Samsung Galaxy or Kindle Fire too!

Gummy Drop is a unique mobile game offering players more than just matching by combining the Match-3 and resource management mechanics. I liked Gummy Drop free app game because it felt a bit more accessible to both genders for me. Now, don’t holler at me for saying that. Gummy Drop free app just felt more appealing to me because the characters were occasionally girls too, plus it wasn’t just about the matches. There were loads of boosts and Gummy Drop app was good clean fun. I liked that. Maybe that’s not a factor for you when you choose games to download, but for me, with two girls who are teens and tweens and play a ton of on line games and watch a ton of Youtube videos, this free app was one I would happily share with them.

At that time when the game launched, it was only available on iPad and iPhone for iOS 6.0 and beyond. Android users were clamouring for this free app and because Big Fish Games is all kinds of awesome they listened. Now the free app is available for Android and Kindle. Don’t forget to enter for a chance to win the sweepstakes over on Big Fish Facebook page.

More about the app:

You start your journey in Sydney, Australia and gather resources needed to put the world map back together. Along the way you accumulate boosts and special resources too. You can extend your life with in app purchases but you are never obligated to buy. I make sure to monitor my kid’s playing habits so that we don’t have any mishaps with app purchases. I am thrilled to know this free app is available on Android because we are now also using an LGG3 phone that I wrote about earlier this year and it is an android phone. The list of apps available for Android grows every day. I love having options.

The Sweepstakes:

To celebrate the Android release, Big Fish is hosting a Gummy Drop Android Sweepstakes on Facebook and Twitter where two lucky winners will be chosen to win a Kindle Fire or Samsung Galaxy Tablet!  The sweepstakes begins TODAY at 12:00am on Monday, December 22nd and runs until 11:59pm on Sunday, December 28th.

To enter to win, customers should visit the Gummy Drop Facebook page and comment on the Gummy Drop Sweepstakes post with the phrase “Let’s go gummy!”….OR, Tweet @BigFishGames with the hashtag #letsgogummy.  The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Facebook and Twitter on December 30th.

This is a sponsored post and as such I have received compensation. I work with Big Fish Games often and love their games and apps, so I happily share them here. My opinion is all my own and it is truthful.

This looks like a fun app. Unfortunatly I need to stay off the games for a little while as it is so distracting Good think I don’t have an android as I am sure I could get hooked on this. I am sure my kids have heard about this app as they are more tech savvy than I

What a cute game! I’m not much of a gamer myself, but this looks like something my nieces would love. I’ll be sure to pass this page along to them. Oh, and I did enter the sweepstakes on Facebook. It would be totally cool to win a tablet! Thanks!

What a fun app! Almost reminds me of candy crush or frozen free fall. It is pretty much that connect the pictures type of game. This one looks so cute, vibrant and fun. I will check this one out.

I love these kinds of games that are challenging and entertaining. Oh no! I’m gonna get addicted to playing again because of this fun app like I did with Candy Crush. But thanks to this I’d have my second game app in my phone . 😛

Seems like a fun game, if only there were enough time in a day. The prizes are great, I’m sure my son would love the game as well as Samsung Galaxy.

Looks like a great app! I wonder if my 3.5 year old son would be able to play… He’s love matching games and we have a kindle fire that he plays games on sometimes. I try to steer clear from game apps because I know that I would easily become obsessed 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

This game looks cute. My kids love trying new games so it’s great to hear this one is completely family-friendly. Sometimes the games are great, the the ads are questionable…nice to know you’ve given this a thumbs-up. Thanks for the recommendation.

I have a few game apps on my phone for times when I need to amuse the kids while I’m out doing errands and whatnot. This looks like a great one for my girls. One that they could easily navigate on their own. And I agree with the commenter above, great for holiday travel. I hadn’t thought of that, but boy does that make sense!
