If you are, like me, watching your new year and new calendar fill up fast, then now is the time to mark down Images of Hope 2014 in Calgary, Alberta. Hold the date for Saturday, March 8, 2014.
Know someone trying to figure out how to pay for in vitro fertilization in Alberta? Then pass this information on to them or tweet it out directly to them.
Last year’s event sold out so mark your calendars now!
Tickets will go on sale in early January for $125 each or $850 for a table of eight. You can email sponsorship@imagesofhope.ca to pre-purchase a table.
Last year’s event was such a success that this year will once again feature a catered sit-down dinner at Heritage Park hosted by Eric Francis and Kelly Abbott of Jack FM.
There will be fantastic silent and live auctions items again this year. Some of these include, a fresh In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)  cycle with medications, a guitar autographed by 15 country legends including Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley to name a few, great trips, plus many more items.
This is the ninth year of Images of Hope – an annual volunteer-coordinated fundraising event and exhibition featuring photographs and stories about IVF conceived children and their families. All media is original and is courtesy of the many professional photographers and videographers who donate their time and talents.

Now we can’t afford in veto, and we have to find someone willing to carry a child for…any advise for assistance? I just turned 39, and I’m not getting any younger…sigh

Sounds like a great cause. 🙂 I can only imagine how hard it is to have to use IVF. But, it is such an amazing thing to be able to choose.

When I pause and count how many children I know who are only possible via IVF, it’s pretty amazing! I am so thrilled for these children … but especially their parents! Infertility is so difficult and often heart-breaking for couples.
