This is our first summer break (my oldest just finished kindergarten). Her last day was the 20th and we’ve already been to the library twice. We plan to go at least once a week through the summer. Our community also has an awesome summer reading program, story time in the park, pool reading parties and pyjama night at the library. Last summer there were all sorts of activities put on by our town to promote learning and I think a lot of them are happening this year too. Last year we had a mobile planetarium come through and this year the mobile aquarium (from Vancouver Aquarium) should be stopping in our town. Lots of opportunities to keep the learning going!

Hello! With my son we would play games that still required skills. Memory games, math games, and card games. They keep skills sharp and repetition always helps to build skills. Thank-you for a chance in this great giveaway!

I would love to get this because I am collecting children books for my grandchildrens. I want them to appreciate books and be avid readers plus hopefully they become writers. Reading soothe the soul!

We read every night before bed (one French/one English book) and I give them lessons they have to complete over the summer (reading, writing, math). #MeanMom
