Mastey Natural Hair Care Products for Colored Hair

Let’s talk Natural Hair Care Products for Colored Hair? Do you specifically need hair care products for colored hair if you highlight or dye your hair? Does it matter? Can dry hair also benefit from products specifically made for colored hair? Read on and you will find out.

Mastey Natural Hair Care Products for Colored Hair are formulated for color protection. I highlight and color my hair from time to time. I also have dry hair that responds best to products that are super moisturizing. I once read that the best way to protect and moisturize dry hair is to opt for color protecting line ups of products all the time. I haven’t always followed that rule but I think it’s worth remembering and testing out from time to time.

So I tried that for a few weeks here. Does it make an impact using colored hair products. Yes, it does actually. At least for me.

I tend to get a lot of beauty products here and I can’t possibly write about all of them. But recently I have had a couple of great hair care products shipped over so that I could test-drive and see if they were potential features worth sharing. This batch of Mastey natural hair care products captured my interest for several reasons.

Mastey is sulfate free and rich with anti-oxidants. It has zero ammonia and it is 100 % vegan. There is a lot I like about Mastey. I have been using this line for a few weeks now. My overview of the line is this: Mastey sulfate free shampoo is a keeper. It works beautifully on my hair. It lathers really well which I was not expecting as any Natural Hair Care Products for Colored Hair I have used previously did not lather at all. This one gets my hair clean and it lets my highlights show through. There is no buildup.

The Mastey Line Up: (BTW the packaging has changed on this brand recently.)

Shampoo

The Mastey Sulfate Free Shampoo strengthens and repairs hair while creating softness and shine. This is the best part of the lineup for me. Purchase this one because it works. It also reduces frizz and flyaway hair which I have noticed. The shampoo is rich in grape seed extracts (which I think makes a hinge difference to my hair.) The antioxidants help repair and protect your color.

Conditioner

Mastey Daily Conditioner smoothes and detangles while eliminating frizz as well. It is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. BUT my personal perspective is that this conditioner doesn’t work really well on my hair. I can use it with the shampoo and the styling products BUT I still have to add a secondary conditioner (which is actually really common for my hair. It gets that dry.)

Leave-In Therapy Spray

Leave – In Therapy Spray is a product I like a lot. It does all of the above tasks that the shampoo and conditioner do, but it also prevents breakage and split ends. This leave-in is light and it is not tacky in my hair either. Use it prior to blowdrying. It provides some protection from hot tools like blowdryers and curling irons. In my opinion this product is also worth trying and using. A little goes a very long way and this bottle will last you months.

Finally there was also a bottle of volumizing foam as well. To be honest I have only used this twice. My hair rarely needs volume because I have big hair. The volumizing foam is a root lifting mousse with all day hold. It supports your style and shine. The Volumizing Foam is part of the extensive lineup of Mastey Natural Hair Care Products for Colored Hair. It acts quite differently than the usual mousse I use. It’s much lighter when it comes out of the bottle.

There is also a Dry Wax, a Defining Cream, a Beach Spray, a Finishing Spray, Hairspray, a Reconstructive Mask, as well as a Styling Gel. The Leave-In Oil Treatment adds softness and shine and is rich with argan oil and olive oil (That’s golden for hair like mine.)

In summary these are some products worth trying. The shampoo is excellent and I like the natural materials and the fact that this is sulfate free. I would love to get my hands on a few more of the styling products actually and I would definitely buy the shampoo. I think the conditioner would be great for my hair if it was an intensive conditioner. Daily conditioner doesn’t help me to be tangle free.

Final Words:

I received these products and decided you might be interested in reading about them so I shared. My reviews are honest.

Also as a POSTSCRIPT to this I want to add that just this week I accidentally started using the products backwards. I was sleepy and did conditioner first and then shampoo and then small repair condition with my other brand and that was the MAGICAL FORMULA that gave me amazing amazing results. Weird but true. Plus I am using the leave-in therapy spray more and it is great!!
