Proactiv Canada Blog Tour: Challenge Week 1 and Giveaway

What do I have in common with Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry? My beautiful voice of course (Joking!) The real answer is: my skin care regime. As part of Mom Central Canada’s latest blog tour I have been offered a challenge and a giveaway. Two of my favourite things. So I am now on the new Proactiv Canada blog tour which means I get to try their products for one month and document the changes to my skin. So far, I have been surprised by the gentleness of the products. Also I didn’t realize Proactiv was created by dermatologists. I had an image in my mind of scratchy abrasive skin care that might have been useful to me as a teenager, but wondered what use this might be to a Mom, say somewhat slightly over 29. I have been surprised and impressed and I have only just started. So stay tuned as I blog about this over the next month.

Proactiv is:  A three-step system for daily use. A cleanser, toner and repairing treatment. It is designed to be used daily and gentle enough to cleanse and exfoliate while targeting blemishes. It is also the world’s number one acne treatment and it comes with a money back guaranteee if not satisfied.  For more information click:  http://tiny.cc/ndk2l

Step 1: The Renewing Cleanser is oil free with exclusive micro-crystal pharmaceutical-grade benzoyl peroxide. It contains smooth tiny beads to help exfoliate, removing dead skin cells and impurities.
Step 2: Revitalising toner: Refreshing and alcohol free with glycolic acid. This helps balance skin tone and remove dead skin cells to reveal radiance beneath. The special formulation includes witch hazel to refine and purify pores and aloe and chamomile to soothe and soften.
Step 3: Repairing Treatment: A light, oil free lotion that again contains the exclusive micro-crystal pharmaceutical-grade benzoyl peroxide. The repairing treatment penetrates deep into the pore to heal blemishes and prevent future breakouts. The advanced delivery system is safe for the entire face and any other blemish prone areas.

You could win a full-size Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer valued at $33 Canadian.

Now to win the giveaway:
Mandatory:
1. Tell me about your experience with Proactiv – if you have used this before. Or tell me why you want to try the innovative skin care system.
2. Leave contact information in the event that you win.

Contest is open to Canada only.
Contest closes Dec. 17th. Multiple blogs are running this contest and while you can enter on each, you may only win once.

I am participating in the New Proactiv Canada program hosted by Mom Central on behalf of Guthy-Renker. I received a free 30-day trial kit and a gift card as a thank you for my participation. The opinions on this blog are my own.

I have never used this product, but I am always intrigued by the commercials.

My question is does it really work?

I suffer from roscea which causes my face to have a red patches. It is very sensitve to products, so I am always hestitant to purchase new products only to find they don’t work.

I can be contactd through my twitter account at sjsjbrook, or email at sjsjbrook@gmail.com

    Thanks

If you are currently using or are thinking about using proactiv skin care line for your acne, please be advised that there are healthier and cheaper alternatives.

Proactiv skin care line is chemically based. BlackBox Frost is all natural, and non-toxic. Frost’s main ingredient for acne treatment is tea tree oil and eucalyptus. It only costs $14.95 and will last 4-6 weeks. It will not cause damage to your skin or your body. Plus, it works!

I challenge you to buy a bottle of Frost and use it, and compare it to what you are currently using for acne. There is no need to buy tons of lotions, creams, or chemicals. If you would like more info. please feel free to contact me caseylbishop@comcast.net or to order simply go to http://shop.blackboxcosmetics.com/CB0263

This is good to know. I have tried everything from Burts Bees but way to oily. I’ve tried every product too at whole foods almost. I do the at home facial with the Riiviva Microdermabrasion tool for my acne scarring and it’s terrific. Its here at http://www.riiviva.com.
Do you have any recommendations as to what avenue to take for mositurizing with out all the oily residue that happens when I use oils. Thanks
