I was worried too. She does fine most days with it now, but she’s nine. It’s a really social and fun thing for them to try when they are younger. My 6er with special needs cannot do the bus yet as it is too loud. So back to picking one up every day. There are bus monitors and they are usually gr 7s or 8s.

My daughter’s school uses 7th grade bus buddies to escort the kindergarten kids to afternoon buses. Not comfortable with a child being responsible for my child. Planning to drive both ways for now. But my child SO wants to go on the bus. Who helps them get off and get into their classroom in the morning?

So far, planning on driving her both ways. Who helps the kids get off the morning bus and into the classroom? My child SO wants to ride the bus. She has been looking forward to it for months, maybe years!
