There aren’t too many people who haven’t heard of new Vice President Kamala Harris by now. She is the first ever female Vice President of the US and an inspiration for young girls everywhere. Welcome Winter Colouring Page

Do you love winter or hate winter? There are pretty much two camps on that. Some people can’t stand the cold and the relentless snow. Others, like me, can’t get enough of the snow. Bring it on. The more snow the more skiing and skating and outdoor snow sports. And that makes me happy. This season, I thought I’d share a fun welcome winter colouring page. Over the last year I shared all the seasons as colouring pages. The year before that, it was the Months of the Year colouring pages. I shared one every month for all of the year 2018. They are not dated by year, so it’s totally usable any time. There are many more printables and free activities on my Pinterest Free Printables Board. Cute Christmas Owls Colouring Page

What is it about owls? Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated with owls. Not sure when that started, but I definitely recall being a Brownie and following along to a leader called Brown Owl. She was wise and smart. Then, as an adult along came the Harry Potter series and frankly Harry’s Owl is one of my favourite owls of all time. If you like owls, then don’t miss this roundup of Harry Potter gifts this season. When my kids were little we would go to Storybook Gardens and there was always an owl there – a rescued owl actually – who kind of captivated all of us. If ever I am travelling with them and we visit an animal sanctuary or a zoo or something like that, I always hunt for the owls. African Lion Safari has several owls there too. We have, over the years, visited African Lion Safari dozens of times. In fact, I used to have a friend who lived basically right behind them near Cambridge. In the summer, when I visited her home, you could occasionally see the zookeepers watching and walking the elephants up and down the rural roads. That was cool. Anyways, every winter as we lead up to the holidays I share some fun Christmas printables with you. They are still popular, even though I don’t have as much time to devote to creating them and writing here as I did six or seven years ago. Fun Spring Colouring Page Printable

It’s officially spring. This year I have shared some monthly colouring pages for your personal use. Today I figured you would enjoy this cute and fun spring colouring page printable too. It seems everyone looks forward to spring. I actually enjoy the winter months because of ski season. When the skiing stops I get a little bit sad. Skiers can relate I’m sure. Whether you love spring or sadly put the ski gear away and grieve a bit for the loss of snow, we can all agree the change of seasons is a challenge. Daylight savings time can be awful for some kids to adjust too. Disrupted sleep makes life chaotic. I always say my one daughter gets a case of the spring crazies as it gets lighter longer at night. November is not my favourite. Sorry, November! Just not the best of all the months. Although when ski season happens super early then I am fine with the month. Otherwise not so much. Not sure which way this month will go but it seems too mild and rainy to be an early ski season. What’s your favourite month? I love all the snowy months so December is a favourite in a lot of ways. Where has this month gone? I can’t even begin to figure out. Of course September and back to school is always a crazy time. But how is September 20th here already? Well here we are in March already. I am looking forward to a bit more winter actually. Need to squeeze some more travel and a bit more skiing in soon. Anyways, you know what they say about March. It’s a brand new month and that means brand new February colouring page. Last month I offered this January colouring page for the first time. Hope to maintain this for the whole year. Do you colour? Do your kids still enjoy colouring? Then I hope that this February colouring page is fun for you. Really February is a fast month. It might not seen like it when you are knee deep in snow but it is the shortest month of them all. When we are skiing and traveling the month seems to fly by. Last year at this time we were in Vermont at Sugarbush. Highly recommend it if you are a ski family. February is My Favourite Between Family Day, Valentine’s Day and skiing, the month is a true highlight. It won’t be much longer and we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day. Gingerbread Man Colouring Activity and Bookmark

Are you a Gingerbread loving kind of person? Me too. I enjoy ginger flavoured foods in general actually. Now that I think about it ginger is a common theme. Are you baking yet? Definitely have not done any of that yet here. Every season I like to share some free holiday printables for my readers. This year is no different. So today I thought I would share this Gingerbread Man colouring page activity. I hope you are having a great fall so far and gearing up for the winter season too. Myself, I am very excited about the potential for skiing this year. We are supposed to get a lot of snow and I am sitting here waiting with my skis ready to go. Actually I just remembered that we need to wax them still too so…better get on that. Anyways, this Gingerbread Man activity should keep your children or grandchildren busy for a little bit if you need to do some baking. Maybe you need to do some wrapping, or maybe they are just driving you bonkers. Print this page off for them and let them have a few minutes of quiet colouring time.
