Disney World Hacks can definitely help you make the best of your time in the Magic Kingdom. When you take the time to research, you’ll quickly find tons of Disney World hacks resulting in a better Disney World vacation. Hacks can help you make the best of your time on vacation anywhere and since Disney is the happiest place on earth wouldn’t you like to enjoy every minute. These are a few Disney travel tricks and tips to consider when planning your Disney vacation. Make Advance Dining Reservations The most popular restaurants in every Disney park tend to fill up a very quickly. Simply stated, all of these particular eateries offer more than just a great meal. Each one is a memorable dining experience that you won’t want to miss. Using the My Disney Experience app, available on both Google Play and the App Store, you can make reservations for most restaurants as early as 180 days in advance. This gives you ample time to choose your favorites and secure your seats, long before it’s time to pack! Visit When School is in Session Disney World is ALWAYS busiest when school is out. It makes total sense, doesn’t it? During the summer and on holidays, the gates are bursting with families who decided to take full advantage of the break. Honestly, planning your vacation during the school year makes for a more relaxed Disney experience. If you’re concerned about your kids missing several days of class, opt for a shorter trip. Another option is to speak with teachers about the possibility of bringing assignments along for the ride. Collect Free Disney Pins One of the most well known Disney World hacks involves the Disney pins. You’ve probably heard about Disney pins. Introduced in 1999, Disney lovers immediately fell in love with them and have been buying and trading them ever since. Many visitors don’t realize you can get free pins on certain special occasions. For example, stop by guest services and mention it’s your first time meeting Mickey to get a fun “first visit” pin. Complimentary pins are also handed out for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. Take an Afternoon Nap The early afternoon is a busy time at Disney World. It’s the time when many of the guests staying at nearby Orlando resorts get to the park for the day. This makes it the perfect opportunity to go back to your room and relax for a while. If you started the day early, there’s probably a good chance that at least a couple members in your group would enjoy a nap. Once everyone feels rested and rejuvenated, head back to the park. This way, there won’t be an issue staying until the gates close for the night. Ship Essential Items to Your Resort Hotel It’s simple to ship packages to your Disney resort hotel. This option is fantastic for bulky or heavier essentials like diapers, snack items, toiletries and more. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, it’s even easier! To ensure the packages get to you, include the following on the shipping label. The resort shipping address, the name your reservation is under, check-in date, reservation number and cell phone number. Keep in mind, some resorts (like the Disney Contemporary) charge a per-package handling fee. But, it’s still a convenient option! Ask for Help Locating Your Favorite Characters Let’s face it; everyone has their favorite Disney characters. There’s no need to wander aimlessly through the parks searching for Minnie, Buzz Lightyear and the princesses… just to name a few. Find an information booth and ask the attendant on duty. He or she (with the help of a tablet and some pixie dust) will locate who you’re looking for. These are several (of many) Disney World hacks for a better vacation. Of course, you don’t need to make use of all of them. But, you never know when they’ll come in handy! This post may contain affiliate links as a service to my readers.

The United States is home to many gorgeous states and beaches. And so many wonderful theme parks for families too. In fact, there are so many great theme parks, it can be difficult to pick the top few. But there are a select group that simply are outstanding entertainment value. These are some of the most popular theme parks in the U.S. If you have not had the chance to check them out for yourself yet, you should definitely add these U.S theme parks to your bucket list. 3 Amazing US Theme Parks: Cedar Point – They are known as the “roller coaster capital of the world” and their 17 thrilling coasters will keep you riding all day long. This is an awesome park for thrill-seekers. You’ll find it in Sandusky, Ohio. That’s pretty easy to get to for many people in Ontario, Canada and areas of the US as well. So many reasons this is one of my favourite US theme parks. Disney’s Magic Kingdom – It’s one of the most magical places on earth so, of course, it makes out list. There are so many great rides, along with all of your favorite Disney characters from childhood. It’s one great reason to head down to Florida. There are so many other great reasons to visit the state. Six Flags Magic Mountain – There are many Six Flags parks found throughout the States and if you live near one, head over and check it out. There will be loads of fun to keep you entertained. But if you’re going to be in California or you live close enough to travel, Six Flags Magic Mountain is a definite winner. It has 18 roller coasters to enjoy. Have a Blast at Any of these 3 US Theme Parks These are just three of the most epic awesome theme parks in the U.S. but there are definitely many more. Have you been to these? Do you have a favourite?

Multi-generational travel can be wonderful. Enjoying life long memories with everyone in the family from grandparents down to grandchildren is something that not every family gets to do. Although multi-generational travel can be fun, it’s sometimes difficult to find destinations that appeal to everyone. That’s why I’ve put together 5 great multi-generational travel destinations in the southern U.S. Multi-Generational Travel Destinations that Totally Rock If you’re going to take a multi-generational family trip, you might as well make it totally epic. That’s what these five destinations are all about. If you’re planning a trip to the south with the extended family, these are destinations not to be missed. Walt Disney World Resort This takes the number one spot on my list for one major reason. Disney has been around for as long as many grandparents have been alive. Subsequently, Walt Disney World Resort has attractions that will appeal to everyone in the family from the oldest to the youngest. With fine and themed dining, rides, characters, and more adult themed attractions such as Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort was made for multi-generational travel. New Orleans You might think beads and flashing when you think New Orleans, but it’s so much more. New Orleans was tailor made for multi-generational travel. From the historic district, never ending music, and family friendly sites like the zoo and aquarium, New Orleans has a little something for everyone from every generation. For a true multi-generational experience, take a ride to the zoo or aquarium on an honest to goodness New Orleans street car. Rock City Rock City is a beautiful destination for multi-generational travel. Located atop Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga, Rock City has everything a family could want in a travel destination. It’s the kind of fun that appeals to the older family members because it doesn’t involve high tech gadgets. It’s also the kind of fun that appeals to the kids, because it sparks their sense of wonder. At Rock City, you can see 7 states, stand under a waterfall, take a walk through an underground cavern, and more. Gatlinburg Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a great multi-generational travel destination for the family that loves old school. You can rent any of a number of cabins nestled in the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a beautiful relaxing oasis after a day of touring antique shops, old time general stores, and more old school, down home goodness. The youngsters can enjoy the many attractions designed for kids like woodworking storefronts that showcase hand crafted toys and the many family-friendly activities like do-it-yourself mining. Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. is an excellent multi-generational travel destination. Both adults and children will enjoy seeing the seat of our country’s democracy, as well as visiting several museums that are enjoyable for adults and children alike. You can visit the National Air and Space Museum, where you can touch a piece of the moon. Also, head over to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, where you can see the Ruby Slippers worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz, among other things. I have actually never been but have this on my dreamy travel destination pinterest board wishlist. Multi-Generational Travel Makes Lifelong Memories I don’t know many people who can say they went on a trip with their extended families. If you can do it, I highly recommend it. There’s nothing like experiencing amazing new things as an extended family. Multi-generational trips build memories like no others, so head to one of these fantastic southern destinations and experience the magic and wonder of multi-generational travel. Related articles across the web Book your land and sea Walt Disney World & Disney Cruise Line vacation with Kristen of Magical Journeys TODAY AT&T Florida latest major employer to join Florida Businesses for a Competitive Workforce Aerial Photography Outlines Disney’s Retail Wonderland ‘Disney Springs’ 9 Steps to Trim Holiday Travel Costs Planning A Trip Fancy A Holiday Trip?
