Twiga fitness leggings are my new favourite. Let me tell you why. I spend a decent amount of time at the gym. Some weeks not as much as I wish, and other weeks exactly the right amount for me. I need proper gear when I am at the gym doing centergy, or weights, or pilates, or group fit. For the summer I have shorts I love that are moisture wicking and work beautifully for me. In the winter I have warm full length yoga pants that are also my office wear some days. It’s the in between times where I never seem to have enough of the right clothing that I need for exercise. So when Twiga women’s Yoga and fitness gear contacted me I knew I had to have some of their personalized capri length leggings. Capris are perfect year round for yoga and group fit and weights too. There are classes where long pants are WAY too warm, even in the coldest winter months. Depending on the workout, classes can feel like they are HOT YOGA. So long yoga pants are torture on those occasions. What is not torture is this awesome pair of Twiga Brooke capri fitness leggings. They fit perfectly and you know how that can sometimes be an issue with on line ordering, right? My kids have more clothing than they need because they often inherit the products sent here that are too small. These Twiga Brooke Capri Fitness Leggings are true to size. That makes me happy. Twiga also sent my sporty spice 12-year-old a pair of adorable capri length pants. Twiga makes high quality product that is every bit as good as the highest priced product in the women’s fitness clothing segment of the market. Plus, it’s much more affordable and it is also Canadian, based in Toronto. Some of the products can be personalized and some cannot. Sometimes the personalization is on the waist, but these ones move the detail to the legs. Twiga leggings do not ride, whether you are doing downward dog, or standing splits. They hug my waist and hips and calves perfectly. The rise is good and more importantly, they are not low slung hip hugger pants that end up flashing everyone in the room each time you switch positions. That’s not my workout style. When I wear other brands of fitness leggings sometimes I am striving to do my best when the clothing malfunctions and breaks my focus. I have a much better workout when I am focused on the movements and the breath and making the most of my ability. Wearing these Twiga leggings helps me do my best. Plus honestly they are just a fun line of women’s workout clothing. I challenge any of my readers to find workout gear that outperforms my Twiga fitness leggings. Twiga makes going to the gym fun. Great Swim Training Gear by Finis

Pool weather is here finally and Finis has the best swim training gear for performance. This summer we are using Finis swim training gear to help take our swimming to the next level. We’re working on building endurance and having fun too. This weekend I got I back from my trip to Indian River and Martin County, Florida and my pool was finally back to normal. We were getting kind of impatient waiting for the liner to be done and the lights to be updated and the stairs had some work too. Not a moment too soon. Today was 28 degrees! This weekend is supposed to be 30 degrees Celsius. Perfect time to get using the Finis swim training gear. Great swim gear is a bit hard to find. I mean there’s all kinds of cheap, disposable gear but good quality is harder to find. We all enjoy the pool and we swim all summer long. My kids do swim lessons and have done that for years, actually from the time they were babies in my arms. My husband and younger daughter are pretty serious swimmers. The thing they both struggle with is endurance. They can do lots of laps, but need to improve their breathing. This year we have the right swim gear, including swim paddles, swim goggles and nose plugs, to take it to the next level. Finis swim training gear has numerous options to extend your performance. This year we are using Finis swim googles, swim paddles, snorkel and head gear for swimmers too. We also have a Finis underwater MP3 player to help block out the rest of the world and enjoy the time spent in the water exercising. The snorkel helps to boost better breathing as we try to build endurance. The goggles are great quality and come in various sizes with anti reflective coating and adjustable straps. My husband has used the paddles a few times to see if they help build a strong stroke. Great Swimmers Need Great Swim Training Gear The Finis Duo Underwater MP3 player is pretty cool and fairly easy to use. The music from iTunes transfers easily with drag and drop onto the device. The Finis Duo Underwater MP3 player attaches to your googles and stays in place as you swim. You will want to be sure that you have imported a playlist so you don’t have to stop and press shuffle while you are doing laps. I received all of these products for consideration here. Netgear Trek n300 Travel Router and Range Extender Review #travel Gadget

For those of you who travel, for business or pleasure, like I do, and for those of you who actually need a bit of a boost for your wifi range at home, also like I do, the Netgear Trek is a great idea. I was sent a Netgear Trek to test out here for a few weeks and I have been working hard on getting used to the gadget. I had high hopes for this, maybe too high. The Netgear Trek is a travel router and range extender. It doesn’t come with cables or any extra parts. The Netgear Trek has a built in antenna you can easily flip up to increase performance. I have been struggling with my Internet connectivity lately. I was exploring where this works best in my home to increase range. It doesn’t seem to be helpful inside the office at all. I assumed that was because it was too close to my existing router. But upstairs in my daughter’s room it worked a bit better. Please note I have given this gadget multiple tries in multiple areas of my home. The N300 Travel Router Trek Model PR2000 is very small as noted and it comes with built in USB port and one micro USB port as well. When the Wifi antenna is open you can easily see the four LED lights beneath. (Power, Internet, Wifi and Wired) There is also a reset button and two Ethernet ports. I tried connecting directly to the Ethernet ports as well but that didn’t work from the Mac in my office. You can use this as a firewall in public if you are connected at a coffee shop in public for instance where the security is low. That would be a useful application of this gadget. Netgear Genie Interface makes setting up Netgear products fairly simple. Netgear Genie is also available as an app for iOS and Android users. I think the Genie interface is great and I love the parental controls. But this gadget fell short on functionality for me. The Trek took too long to get activated when it was in my home being used as a range extender. Time is money when you run a business and that was a problem for me. I attempted to use the Netgear Trek in my office in both a wired through Ethernet and wireless capacity with WIFI and had no luck. In fact the entire experience was frustrating. I recognize that this is a relatively small, compact and fairly affordable device but I expected more from it. The Pros: It doesn’t come with any extra bits. It is affordable and compact. Netgear Genie Interface is great. The Cons: This should work and connect almost effortlessly to make me want to use it. It didn’t ever work well enough as a bridge within my home or a range extender. I had high hopes for this but they weren’t met unfortunately. I was provided with a Netgear Trek for purposes of this review. My opinion is my own.
