Cute Children’s Christmas Letter to Santa Writing Prompt

Paula — Tue, 01 Dec 2020 19:21:36 +0000

I think we can all easily recall that time during childhood when we believed wholeheartedly in magic and in Santa Claus. Back before pandemic was even a word in our daily vocabulary, as children we wrote at least one creative and joyful letter to Santa each year. Dear Santa Letter Writing an annual letter to Santa was something I looked forward to for weeks before Christmas. It was my chance to plant suggestions in my home, and send them directly to the North Pole. As an adult, I have enjoyed many years of creating that illusion for my kids. I kept that tradition going for years longer than it actually would have in many other homes, because my youngest who has FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) believed completely with all of her heart and soul in Santa. I loved that about her. Childhood is short, I always think, so why not permit kids to enjoy it and believe. Grab hold of the reins this year and celebrate all of the moments with the children in your family. Take time to decorate the tree together, make the ornaments together this year. DIY Christmas Activities Here’s one idea for an easy DIY Christmas ornament. There are all sorts of Christmas recipes that are family friendly and seasonal too. Don’t forget to visit my Merry Christmas Pinterest board and finally my Free Printables board. Print out this adorable letter to Santa and let them make their list. Here’s How to Get this Printable For this one, you could right click and print the letter out from the image above. I have two or three other examples of Christmas letters to Santa here as well. Check out this cute Wish list Letter to Santa and pin it for later.. Happy Holidays! What’s on your list this year?

Cozy Up With Hallmark Holiday Gifts 2016 #Giveaway #LoveHallmarkCA

Paula — Fri, 16 Dec 2016 11:17:05 +0000

Winter is the perfect time for nesting. This time of year almost everyone wants to crawl under a warm blanket, light a candle and curl up with a good book. Once you’ve sent the Hallmark cards and decorated, then wrapped all the presents you can do just that with these sweet Holiday Gifts. This year Hallmark delivered with so many beautiful gifts that I hardly know where to start. As always Hallmark has the cutest stuffed interactive animal gift. This year Frosty Friends Shivering Polar Bear Interactive Stuffed Animal is already giving us cuddles. This sweet guy was going to be gifted to one of my nephews but we are loving him too much. Rub noses with this sweet bear and watch him shiver. He shivers and giggles when you touch his nose. My older daughter is hoping Santa leaves one under the tree for her. The shivering cutie is $29.95 and takes three Double A batteries. He’s more than worth it. Our second favourite gift of the year is this festive Smiling Snowman Flannel Throw Blanket. This stays here. It’s a gift to us and will be used starting this weekend on the couch when we cuddle to watch Fuller House or The Walking Dead. Both of the girls spied it and said DIBS. But frankly I have dibs on this blanket for all of us. Mom first. Not sure if I have ever mentioned our love for Charlie Brown here or not. My younger daughter is head over heels in love with Peanuts memorabilia. She enjoys the cartoons, and the merchandise. So, when the Peanuts Holiday Through The Year book showed up with this gorgeous Hallmark delivery, I quickly wrapped it and placed under the tree. She better not be reading this post! I love this Peanuts book at $14.95 because I know she will beam from ear to ear when she receives it. If you have a Charlie Brown fan you need to go get this for them now. It’s adorable and hardcover and very good quality. I think it’s a steal at that price actually. Your Holiday Gifts just got prettier with help of Hallmark Signature embellishments and cards. Thankfully we all have the sweetest holiday gifts already and I topped many of our gifts with the Preppy Multi-Pattern Gift Tags ($4.99 for 10) They are really lovely and high quality as well. Every year Hallmark releases some lovely unique ornaments. This year is no different. There are a few itty bitty’s that I am giving to the little people in my life. Elsa from Frozen is $6.95 and I know half a dozen kids on my list who would adore the BB8 Star Wars itty bitty’s ornament too. Wrap them and place in someone’s stocking or hang on your own tree. This year the pretty Snowflake Candle Holder is decorating my mantle. It suits my living room colour scheme perfectly. These are $19.95 for the large size shown here and $16.95 for small size. I can’t wait to put a candle in it and watch there shadows flicker romantically this weekend. Hallmark Holiday Gifts extend to stocking stuffers and, even stockings. There are three different gorgeous stockings to choose from with snowflakes, jingle bells decorations, and cotton-knit fabric. These are keepsakes for years to come and would be the ideal way to share several small Hallmark gifts with someone special. Grab one of these stockings and fill it with Itty Bittys ornaments or Signature ornaments. Then pop in Holiday Candy Toe-of-a-Kind socks. [tweetthis]Hallmark Holiday Gifts are one of a kind this year. #LoveHallmarkCA[/tweetthis] This year you can’t help but win at gifting when you load up on Hallmark gifts. This year you can even buy the gorgeous Reindeer and Snowflakes Carryall Tote Bag in red or black for $24.95 to carry all your beautiful gifts to and from family gatherings. These are really sturdy and lovely. And just so you know December 25 and 26 you will find me cuddled up in the basement watching Christmas movies, in my Holiday Candy socks, underneath the Smiling Snowman Blanket with Frosty Friends shivering polar bear nearby. And of course there will be a book or two handy. Happy Holidays! I am a Hallmark ambassador and as such I receive product for consideration here on the blog. This year Hallmark also has offer one of my Canadian readers the Peanuts Holiday Through The Year book. Follow the instructions for a chance to win! Entry-Form
