I am touched by your love and dedication to this beautiful little girl. It is every child’s birthright to be loved, cared for, protected and celebrated for who they are simply because they are and for no other reason. Being there when it isn’t easy to be is what makes us mothers, and a mother you most certainly are. I am moved to my core by Ainsley’s strength and courage to live each day with a curve ball I coundn’t imagine dealing with as an adult, much less alongside all of the regular challenges of just being a kid and trying to figure out how the world and all its’ beautiful screwiness works. It amazes me to think of what her contribution to the world around her will be. I am touched by Ainsley’s birth parents who had so many demons and how badly it must hurt not to have her and that they loved her enough to let go. It is a tremendous gift to her that you can view their situation with understanding and compassion. All anyone ever wants or needs is to be understood and not judged. These are the most important traits to examplify for your daughters of all. Thank you for your post.
