- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1½ tsp rum extract
- ¾ cup softened butter
- 7.5 ounce jar marshallow fluff
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 bag butterscotch chips
line an 8 by 8 pan with parchment paper or wax paper or spray it with non stick spray.
In a sauce pan over medium heat combine the condensed milk and butter, as well as the marshmallow fluff.
Add the white sugar and brown sugar slowly, stirring consistently.
Boil for about five minutes, but be sure to stir and watch closely. This can burn easily if you are not careful. You are trying to mix all of the sugar in until it blends and is not gritty.
Remove from the heat and add in the butterscotch chips, stirring until they melt.
Pour into the pan and let it cool for at least 30 minutes to one hour.
Slice and serve!
