Cozy Camping with Sneaky Snuggler Puffy Camping Blanket

Cozy camping is the best. I don’t need to always be in a hotel or resort. In fact I have learned that I love camping and glamping too. But no matter where we are staying and what we are doing this gal needs to be warm. End of story. I just need to be comfortable.

Roughing it doesn’t have to mean shivering through the night with a rock grinding into your lower back. That’s just plain masochistic! Instead, my family and I like to either camp in a cabin, a safari tent, a yurt or even an RV. No matter how we camp or where we do it we need to be warm and that means bringing specific gear for the chilly nights away. We always bring comfy sleeping gear because even in an RV it can get cold at night. On our last trip through Ontario Parks, we decked ourselves out and enjoyed one of the last cozy camping trips of the season.

The Last Cozy Camping Hurrah of the Season

More than likely, last week’s trip will be the last of its kind for the season. Up here in Canada, things get colder faster, and we are fast approaching the last good weather for trips like the one we just took. Between scheduling and the weather cooling down, it probably won’t happen again this year. That’s why I was glad to be able to get in this trip. There’s a lot to love about quick Fall getaways and this was a great one. But you can’t enjoy Fall Camping if you are freezing.

The weather was beautiful in the parks and had the perfect fall bite. The leaves were beginning to change. It was one of those trips where everything just seems to click right into place. Part of that was due to our Sneaky Snuggler Puffy Camping Blanket.

Sneaky Coziness

The Sneaky Snuggler Puffy Camping Blanket is convenient and warm too. It’s one of the best pieces of sleep gear we have for camping. It combines the warmth retention you usually find in those big, unwieldy sleeping bags with a low profile that makes it easy to transport it no matter where you’re headed. This low profile camping blanket from Montem Outdoor Gear boasts a temperature rating of 40 degrees+. It’s also water and puncture resistant, and at 54″ x 80″, it fits everybody and makes a perfect snuggler for two. Did I mention it’s also machine washable? Bonus, right?

No Reason to Freeze While Camping

I’m so glad I discovered the Sneaky Snuggler Puffy Camping Blanket! It’s so nice to be able to bring along something that keeps us so warm without taking up a ton of space. I appreciate the compact size, excellent heat retention, and how comfortable it is, as well. Due to its design, it’s not OVERLY puffy so I don’t feel like I’m drowning in it and it feels really light. Overall, it’s a great choice for a camping blanket. If you’re an avid camper, or even someone who spends a lot of time outdoors I encourage you to invest in the Sneaky Snuggler Puffy Camping Blanket. It is comfy, compact and warm.

  1. Oh my it’s been awhile, I used to own my own trailer and had it set up as a seasonal at a very nice park, but work got hetic and I had to sell my trailer, so it’s been almost 20 years since I have been camping

  2. I love camping best when there is a bit of frost in the air. I love that this blanket is toasty warm and being machine washable is totally a must. Who wants to dry clean camping gear? NOT ME!

  3. Our last camping trip was over thanksgiving weekend , I LOVE fall camping so this would be a welcome piece of gear ! might even try to squeeze in one more trip this year 🙂

  4. We do year round camping sometimes with Girl Guides so we always need a nice cozy sleeping bag. I agree that roughing it doesn’t mean discomfort, not if you are prepared.

  5. Well our last trip with our hybrid trailer was two weeks ago when we went to Halloween at Inverhuron Provincial Park, but we also spent Thanksgiving weekend in my parents trailer at Woodland Lake.

  6. last time we went was just before Sept but they say we will try this weekend in the trailer but I dont know if it will happen but the boys would like to try one more time

  7. Summer of 2016 I went camping 4 times. I think that was a record for me. Since then I’ve had my daughter and I plan on doing more camping next summer since she will be 2 then.

  8. This past summer my 80 year old mom, myself and my 2 kids 12 and 14 when camping for 4 days and met my brothers and their families there. We all had sooo much fun. It was a campsite that I grew up camping at 45 years earlier.
