Smart Stages Laugh & Learn chair

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages toys have earned the first spot in my 2014 Christmas Gift Guide. Fisher-Price is a brand I love. It stands the test of time and continues to innovate. Fisher-Price has been a part of my life from the time I was a child, and as my kids have grown, it has been a constant household name. I love that Fisher-Price Little People toys are creative and special. This year the Laugh & Learn Smart Stages toys are my choice of best toys for toddlers 2014. Why are Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages toys the best toddler toys for Christmas 2014? For all the reasons stated above, and also because these toys help nurture early development. Plus this new Smart Stages line is smart, in that it grows with baby. These Smart Stages toys work for a six month old and they grow to work with a child as old as three. In my opinion, some of these toys last longer depending on your child and their ability.

Shown above is the Smart Stages chair. What little person doesn’t love a chair of their own where they can tinker, press buttons and be rewarded with learning? The Smart Stages toddler toy is recommended for 12 months old and up to three. It costs $49.99 (recommended store price) and because it lasts, is easily cleaned and fun, this toy makes a great investment. The ABC seat knows when baby sits down and when he or she stands up to. There are more than 50 songs and phrases that the chair plays. The Smart Stages chair has a flip book and a remote. Shapes, colours and numbers are all reinforced, or learned here as one of my picks for best toys for toddlers 2014. I love that parents can input the age of your child and content updates automatically.

Smart Stages Vacuum

Smart Stages vacuum is recommended for ages 12 to 36 months and costs about $29.99. I wish this had been around when my girls were little. How cute is this? It is a push-along vacuum that encourages baby to learn through real world play. It features three light up shape buttons and teaches baby about shapes, colours and letters. Parents can change the level for content updates.

Smart Stages Train

This Smart Stages Train is one of the toys I will be sharing with my nephew. Trains and toddlers just go together perfectly in my opinion. The Puppy’s Smart Stages Train works for ages 6 months upto three years old. It retails for an estimated $44.99. There is a puppy, monkey and frog in this adorable motorized train that encourages crawling. There are three rattle characters and a light up smokestack that plays songs. Parents manually can change the level for content updates.

I kind of love this funny interactive toddler laptop. I mean it helps keep baby from grabbing the iPad a bit longer, right? Nine keys and a space bar that play songs and phrases. Learn colours, numbers and more. Like all the other Smart Stages toys, parents can change the level for content updates.

I think this one is my absolute most favourite toy of the Smart Stages Laugh & Learn line. Age 12-26 months. Who doesn’t love a toy lawnmower? (Retail $29.99)When my kids were small this was one gift (even though it looked different back then.) that they loved. We had an outdoor lawnmower and the kids used it often. It was a birthday present back then and it was well loved. There’s a lot to be said for things you can push around and toys that get baby standing are a total joy. Smart Stages Mower helps get baby moving. The look of pride on their faces when they accomplish the job of pushing and walking together is magical for parent and baby alike. And the learning that takes place at the same time is icing on the cake.

I received two or more of these items for free in order to prepare this post. My opinion is all my own.
