This rarely happens anymore. They grow their own ways once they hit a certain age. Occasionally we come back together and circle round during summer months, or family vacations. This was unexpected the other day on the way to school. I had to take a picture. And yes it’s dark out these mornings. This is my Wordless Wednesday for the week.

I have 2 girls too, and I love those moments when they realize that they are each other’s best friend. And can I just add, wowzers at all that snow!
Debalino says
I’m so glad you caught this moment. They’re going to look back at this pic, and once they get over their memory of the cold snow, they’ll also look fondly at how sweet they were as kids. This beautiful friendship will get even stronger when they’re older too! Love it!

That is so sweet. I was never close to my sisters as they were best friends with each other.

There was a time when my brother and I were best friends. As we got older, though, we did grow apart. I’m not sure where he went wrong but he did. I can’t think of the last time I talked to him because of the path he has chosen. But there were those golden, beautiful moments of childhood. Thanks for reminding me!

I am pleased to say that my teens, for the most part, are still best friends.

That is too cute! I am the oldest of 3 girls, we are close but not as close as I would like. I live in a different state than they do, so we don’t see each other very often. Sibling relationships are so important. Is there anything that you do as a mom to help them to stay close?
Judy Cowan says
Sweet picture and memories! Hopefully they will always be best friends!
