We have been on a quest to get our house ready for sale and life is very disrupted right now with boxes everywhere, toys in storage and a series of contractors coming in and out of our home. The other day we dropped an old toddler bed off at a friend’s house and discovered a beautiful walking trail over in Oakridge area. So we stopped the van, jumped out and took a hike. It must be noted this was the day my girl, 9, insisted on wearing high heeled clogs that are 2 sizes too large for her feet. I think our hike cured her of that phase. Wink.

Ah yes, very sensible! lol
Tee hee! Mine did something similar…and she’s only just turned 5!
Such a gorgeous picture! Lol and yes, I’ve done that myself; walking in too-big shoes is awful!
I love going for a walk on crisp autumn days. Fun!
I love happening upon little trails with the kids. It always turns into an adventure. Great pic!
ohboy, hiking in any clog let alone big ones would be a chore!
I love going for hikes in the fall. The air is fresh and crisp.
I love hiking in the woods! Don’t get to do it as often as I’d like though.
Aw, lovely picture! I love outdoor pictures and hiking. 🙂
Hiking is one of my favourite things to do! Your daughter is beautiful, great photo!
Lovely picture! I can’t tell you how many times fashion has gotten in the way of a good outing here 😉
Haha! Lesson learned! That aside – how wonderful to take the time to hike with your little mama. Other than the clogs, she must have loved spending Q-time with her mom away from the boxes!
Your hiking partner is a cutie! 🙂
