If ever there was a year when we all needed a relaxing hobby, this was the one. I have spent many mornings in the past six months working out and we all have been crafting, doing puzzles and colouring occasionally too.
That’s why I thought this Halloween Mandala Pumpkin Colouring Page might be just right for you. Colouring isn’t just for kids after all.
Colouring as Both a Craft and Relaxation Technique
As everyone knows, we have all been through the ringer this year with the pandemic, but even so, we have found many ways to adjust and be resourceful. Colouring is a great way to take the edge off. I’ve even spied my husband colouring with my youngest a couple of times.
Mandalas are a creative tool my one daughter loves to use to relax and combat anxiety. They seem to work and so will this Halloween mandala.
The other day a friend commented on my Instagram post about camping stating she felt my girls had grown seriously resourceful this year during the pandemic. I have to say I agree with her. They have learned several new skills. Here’s a piece I wrote about that for CBC Parents.
Making the Most of It
Over the past few months, we have done so many fun things to make the best of our time here during a pandemic. We have embraced Beach Days locally and small adventures exploring the Southwestern Ontario area.
My oldest daughter has been baking bread and making so many goodies and I have been writing all of the content, while my younger girl has also contributed a couple of posts here too. Check her most recent post out:
