Pass the Gravy – A Canadian Thanksgiving #Giveaway

It’s time for Canadian Thanksgiving. Yippee! Now pass the gravy. We have so much to be thankful for this year. In fact, if you live in Canada, I am pretty sure you all need to be thankful for the gift of geography and how blessed we each are to be living in a country so rich with resources. After my recent trip with World Vision Canada, I can tell you my perspective on gratitude and life in general has changed dramatically.
Canadian Thanksgiving is a great time to share your home, your heart and a beautiful meal together. But before you get to that there’s a fair bit of work to do. The groceries are madness and then of course there is the cleanup.
Which brings me to my question:
What’s your Thanksgiving style?

Are you Last Minute MOM planner like me? I still don’t have a clue where I am going or what I might be doing. But I know my yard is a mess and the windy Fall weather is making it chaos back there. So at some point this weekend we will be tackling that space.

Or are you a Mister Clean? Darling spouse is a Mister Clean kind of guy. He goes on cleaning binges, particularly right before someone comes over to visit. So I know if we invite family suddenly he will kick it into high gear.

Maybe you are like some of the people I know, racing around like a mad woman or man shopping for turkey and fixings. And maybe you are like my Mister Clean husband who goes off the deep end if people are coming over. Either way, chances are you can use some cleaning tips from OxiClean and Nicole Sassaman, lifestyle expert. Nicole has a few thoughts on staying on top of those messes this Thanksgiving.
Regardless of your Canadian Thanksgiving entertaining style, OxiClean has some products to help. Luckily I have a great package to gift to one of you Canadian readers.

Follow the instructions below to win.

  1. One cleaning issue I have is the dust that collects on the back of my plasma screen it just seems to be a magnet, I can dust it daily and next day its covered again

  2. I am a weekend warrior when it comes to cleaning…I go from top to bottom and have a week-end list. My one cleaning issue is my granite counter tops…by the end of the week they are streaky

  3. I am a random cleaner. I don’t finish an entire room first. I get side tracked in each room I enter, but it eventually gets done.. except laundry.. the other half seems to fix that issue for me. lol . I hate matching socks lol.

  4. A cleaning issue I have is trying to keep the floor clean. Between the pets and the kids, I just can’t seem to have a spotless floor for more than a few minutes. It drives me bonkers!

  5. My cleaning style is erratic,I clean the first floor on one day, then on the another day,the second floor..I try to keep up,but I feel I clean the kitchen and bathrooms more than the rest of my home.

  6. One issue I have is cleaning whites with spots on without having to put resolve on the spots before I do the laundry load. Would be nice if only the detergent itself would be sufficient!

  7. one of my issues is pet odours…have great trouble with a certain cat peeing on clothing. Have to wash things two or three times to take the smell out

  8. My cleaning style is keeping a sink full of warm soapy water ready during big dinners so the dirtiest dishes can get soaked and thus are easier to clean.

  9. I tend to do all or nothing which leads into a full blast cleaning frenzy sweeping up the fairy dust! I should pace myself and assign a specific day for each room, I know that works for some other folks!
