Our First Ever Family Trip to Disney
I remember this as if it was yesterday. Our first ever family trip to Disney was a super special memory for all of us to treasure now and for life. Disney is a rite of passage and a journey that everyone hopes to take at some point in their lives. Our First Visit to the Magic Kingdom I felt like posting this Throwback Thursday today. Lately, I am craving travel madly. Craving travel to Disney even more than usual. I miss the happiest place on earth. Plus I think we need a break. Anyways this was our first family Trip to Disney. Max & Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite
When my kids were small they adored Max & Ruby on Nickelodeon. My girls still enjoy seeing live entertainment and Centennial Hall, London, has often been a space where we built happy family memories. If you ask me Centennial Hall is the perfect size for events that are somewhat intimate, welcoming, warm and family friendly. Our last show might have been The Backyardigans there I think. Over the past decade there have been many great Koba Entertainment productions witnessed and experienced by our family. There’s something about these entertaining productions that makes kids of us all. Max & Ruby, the brother sister duo that enchant children who are toddlers…

On the Move #WordlessWednesday Painting Linky
As some of the readers here already know, we are getting ready to move. The recommendation way back in September was to paint the hall. So husband removed the wallpaper and then we hired a painter to come in and freshen the house up. The painting is almost done. We still need trim work. Now the tricky part – keeping it free of marks and kid’s fingerprints until we sell it.

How cute are these two? One day this little dude who shall remain nameless, but is the son of one of my best friends, will be married to one of my daughters. I am certain of it. Plus how cute are these two? I took this picture at Western Fair one weekend recently.

She also loves travelling. Today when our first Little Passports kit arrived, she got her two great loves all tied up in a pretty little package. Every Child Loves Mail The first thing my child checks every day when she gets in from school is the mailbox. Getting mail addressed to her that talks all about travel and culture and other places in the world, complete with a mini passport and suitcase and stamps and boarding passes? Well, that’s…

Disappointment #WordlessWednesday #specialneeds
This is disappointment. I am not a great photographer, but every so often a shot works out. Happy with this one even though it was a private moment when my daughter was unable to do something she had her heart set on doing. She pushed it right to the limit and was all the way up the ladder towering several feet off the ground when she looked down and could not go through with the zip lining. Her sister went and her Dad went. She was mad at herself. Wordless Wednesday is a photography meme.

Bruce County Travel – Exploring the Bruce
All the summers of my childhood were spent with my Mom and brother on the beaches along the Bruce Peninsula. They were leisurely Bruce County summers spent sunning ourselves, swimming, growing. Exploring Bruce County Travel Attractions From the time my kids were little, we maintained the Bruce County summer tradition. This year, before we headed up to the beach for a week at a rented cottage I checked out a few web sites to see what was new and what we might add to our week. Tweens are fun to travel with and mine have been visiting the cottage for years already, so I wanted to add something…
