There are some brands I am diehard committed to. Tres Semme hairspray, Sunlight liquid dish soap, Tommy Hilfiger polo t-shirts, Jelly Belly jelly beans and Finish. These are my tried, trusted and true brands that provide real solutions, or reliable results for my family. They are integrated into my life and my shopping experience. I don’t swap them out for anything, for any reason, ever. They are untouchable.
When my darling husband and I were younger, we would always opt for the cheapest shopping experience. We bought a lot of No Name products. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn’t. As soon as we got a dishwasher we cycled through a dozen powders, tablets and capsules in the hunt for the one that got the dishes clean. We finally found Finish. It cleaned better than any other tablet we ever used. My husband got sloppy one week and bought some other brand again. The difference was ridiculous. I might as well have not put the dishwasher on at all. I’d end up running it twice, maybe even washing the dishes after running the dishwasher twice. Now there is nothing about that experience that saves money, or the environment. Nothing.
Anyways, I think you get my point, I refuse to use anything other than Finish. So, when I heard the news that Finish had a new product utilizing less harsh chemicals and providing the same great cleaning experience well, I was excited to give it a shot. I was a pinch worried too. Would it work as well as it always had? Ever have that experience with a perfect brand that you love and wouldn’t swap for anything and then suddenly they change the packaging or the composition and it’s no longer as effective? Is there anything more disappointing? Like finding coal in your stocking at Christmas.
Luckily new Finish Power & Free with hydrogen peroxide works every bit as well as Finish Quantum tablets and it is easier on the environment. Finish Power & Free delivers sparking dishes while powering away stubborn stains like coffee, grease and dried on food. Finish Power & Free is safe to use on China and glass. The power gel portion of the capsule washes away residue and makes things shiny. The presoaking powerball breaks down and lifts even baked on, dried on food. It’s spectacularly reliable every time I use it and that saves me money. The new Finish Power and Free is chlorine free and uses less harsh chemicals and it works. It powered away grease left on the glass casserole dish my daughter used to bake fish last night for dinner.
Finish still has the same great line of products they always did: Quantum, Powerball and Jet Dry. For a limited time you can also visit Finish Canada Facebook page and snap up free samples of the new Finish Power and Free.
I am participating in the Finish Power & Free blogger outreach program on behalf of Finish and Mom Central Canada. I received compensation as a thank you for participating and for my honest opinion. My opinion is all my own.
