5 Summer Crafts for Tween Girls

crafts for tween girls

Well, school is soon to be out and you know what that means, right? It means chaos, unless you have something planned for the kids several days in a row. I have a tween and a teen and they are super crafty little things. In fact, I have told this story before but the oldest when she was three started preschool almost entirely because of the crafts. It’s true. She wanted to craft all the time and I had run right out of ideas. That was before Pinterest, obviously. So, that and the fact that she was super talkative and starting to read at three and just really needing stimulation, meant I signed her up for preschool. The Preschool of the Performing Arts worked brilliantly for that.

This summer, my girls are doing a few different camps as usual. And beyond that they will be swimming and doing a few days at a cottage with us. But there will definitely be craft time in there too. So, I am preparing now with a roundup of crafts for tween girls. I love the stained glass butterfly. The vases are a must do as well. If I know my girls, they will want to try each of these.

The beauty of these crafts for tween girls is that they are each very easy and affordable to make.
