When Life Hands You Lemons – Make Lemon Desserts
When life hands you lemons – make lemon desserts!! Of course.
The best lemon desserts are the ones you have available to eat right now. I swear to you on all that I cherish, if the world of flavours dried up tomorrow and there was only lemon left, I would be totally fine with that. Lemon is my favourite flavour of all, ever. It makes me happy.
Nothing like lemon to signal spring, summer, or even just a change of seasons. I just love it. My favourite of all time is lemon merengue pie. But lemon squares and tarts and even lemon flavoured cake makes me happy. So I rounded up a few of the best ones I could find to share with you.
Raspberry lemonade flavoured drinks or treats. Need I say more? That’s like a double whammy of love for your tastebuds. I assume some of you also like lemon flavoured treats…So why not share the love of lemon desserts?

You get me entirely then. I love lemons. Love them.
I love Lemon desserts so this is just the perfect post for me
We have so many lemons I’ve been wanting to make something with them.
Great roundup! I love lemon desserts, especially in spring, they’re so fresh! In Denmark, most places only sell pre-packaged produce, so I often end up with way more than I need… especially lemons and limes, so this list will come in handy 🙂
Thank you so much for this! I love lemon everything….honestly even better than a lot of chocolate desserts. 😉
What wonderful recipe ideas! My favorite are the Pink Lemonade Cookies! I rarely ever think to make lemon flavored desserts even though it’s one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing these delicious recipes for us!
Lemon is my favourite dessert flavour. I recently got into drinking lemon water but then immediately (like 2 weeks later) I had a dentist appt and they told me to stop due to my teeth (I guess I have sensitive teeth or something). But anything lemon desserty I will never turn down – oh man, so good. Especially now this time of year when the weather is just warming up. Perfect!
I agree Nancy and wow that’s weird about the lemon water. I will need to pay attention to that because I do have sensitive teeth and the enamel is challenged. LOL.
My daughter’s favorite is lemon and her bday is coming up. I’ll have to make this!
Lemon always makes me think spring time and fresh time of year. I love lemon squares they are one of my favorite desserts. This is a great collection of lemon recipes for the spring time.

There’s never enough lemon!!!! YUM!!
What a great collection of lemon desserts! I really like the flavor combination of lemon and raspberry, so the pound cake looks like a winner to me! The lemon bundt cake would also be popular in our home!

I love lemon. These are look like nice and refreshing treats!
We had this delicious lemon cake for Easter with butter cream frosting. It was shaped like an egg and had the cutest little piping around the edge. I wish it had been bigger! I love lemon!
I love the taste of lemon because it is so refreshing unlike other naturally sweet fruits. It is also one of my favorite flavors. These treats for desserts all look delicious. The lemon sweet rolls and lemon springtime cookies are excellent as snacks in the office.
I’m totally a lemon fanatic (but hate it in my water, weird fact) and LOVE all of these recipes. I’ve made a lemon meringue lately that’s mind blowing but these recipes will probably take the cake! Can’t wait to give them all a try! 🙂
Thank you for this post! I absolutely love it! I’m a lemon lover and I adore desserts and food with it. I love the list you have, specially the lemon squares. Will check them all out! 🙂
