AMF Getting Unplugged This Summer: Free Bowling For Kids

Free bowling all summer long!! Yes, I thought that might get your attention.
When I was a kid we did a lot of bowling in the summer. My Mom was a teacher so we took the whole summer off together. Our small family often spent a lot of time searching out fun and thrifty ways to stay occupied without spending too much time on the sofa surfing the channels, barking: “I’m bored.” So we went to the beach and we visited Storybook Gardens every year. We mini-golfed once a week and we bowled at least once a month. This summer AMF bowling centres is running a campaign called Summer Unplugged and they are offering an amazing deal for any child aged 16 and under. Free bowling all summer long. You pay nothing other than the cost of the bowling shoe rental. AMF’s Summer Unplugged is an American campaign. Their bowling centres don’t exist up here in Canada, so this post is one that my American readers can take advantage of exclusively. Free bowling for kids all summer long. Now if only a Canadian chain of bowling centres or amusement parks offered a similar deal, we could all celebrate!

What kinds of things does your family do in the summer? Are they the same as they were when you were a child? Do you bowl? Do you mini golf? How do you save money while keeping the kids busy all summer long? Leave me a comment so we can all share smart ideas and strategies to save.

I participated in this campaign as a member of the One 2 One Network. I was not compensated but I am eligible to win prizes as a result. The opinion in this blog is all my own.
