    These are my kids at the start of the week. All happy to go back to school and confident and such. Aren’t they cute? By day four of week one, my little one, ironically a girl with special needs is still tickety boo and thrilled with school.     No other season comes close to summer. As a family, we try to make opportunities to play all year round.     A few short months ago I stood in a room in London with supporters of the federal New Democrat Party awaiting Jack Layton’s arrival. The federal election campaign had just begun. It was April.
