Five Great Toys for Toddlers

Hunting for the perfect toy for your niece or nephew? One of my favourite things to do as an aunt is toy shop for the most current, educational and affordable toys. With two toddlers on my list this year I have some fun shopping to do and I already have some toddler toys picked out.

I enjoy buying some classics like the Fisher Price corn popper – which has been around forever. (In fact I had one as a child) and Fisher Price Little People toys too. These are classic toddler toys on my books and they are durable too.

Play Based Learning and Toddler Toys that Work

The business of play is important for toddler and pre kindergarten children too. It’s what they are supposed to do because they are kids and learning at such a rapid rate.

Luckily, there are some great brands and toddler toys out there that are safe and fun for toddlers transitioning from infancy to play-based learning experiences. A great toy can focus your growing baby and help them learn new tasks.

The Fisher Price Little People series helps all children explore creative role play. I love Little People for that. And the Little Tikes drum is a sturdy essential for any gender. Plus it beats having your little one hammer on the Lagostina pots and pans.
