Hoover Air Steerable Pet Keeps the Hair at Bay

I am a Hoover ambassador and as such I have been compensated. My opinion is all my own and it is truthful.

Hoover Air Steerable Pet Upright Vacuum is an excellent option if you have a pet or if you just have a lot of hair in your home in general. Dirt, dust and hair are no match for this new Hoover vacuum. The Hoover air steerable upright is your answer to whole-home cleaning.

Your pets are members of the family and you couldn’t imagine life without them. But you definitely could do without the tumbleweeds of pet hair blowing down the hall and the patches of fur on the sofa, the clothing, the pillows and the bed. You vacuum often, but the hair is still there. It sort of clings to carpet and furniture fibres, as well as nicks in hardwood or tile flooring, making it hard to get up.

The same cleaning dilemma holds true in my house. Even though I don’t have pets, I have two daughters with long hair. I also have long hair. Try as I might, hair is everywhere. Between the three of us hair ends up being our biggest problem along with dust of course and regular outdoor allergens that people track in routinely.

That’s why the Hoover Air Steerable Upright has become a staple in my house.

The Hoover Air Steerable Cleans Up

And that’s what you want. I have always had a terrible time with vacuuming up hair. My daughters both have  beautiful heads of hair, but with so much of it on the floor, you would wonder how they have any left! Oh if you have teen girls I am sure you can relate. They are extremely messy creatures. This vacuum helps me get rid of the hair easily and more thoroughly which is key whenever you’re dealing with pets and/or kids who shed.

In addition to getting up the hair easily, the Hoover Air Steerable is lightweight, which makes it easy to navigate around furniture and up and down stairs. This one is light enough that I can hand it off to my daughters and let them clean portions of the house. The Hoover Air Steerable makes cleaning easier due to how light and flexible it is. I am actually super impressed with this vacuum.

Hoover Air Steerable Pet Upright Vacuum Specs

This vacuum may be lightweight, but it’s no lightweight in the power department. That’s what I like so much about it. It works very well without being cumbersome and clunky. Take a look:

  • WindTunnel 3 Technology creates three channels of suction to quickly and efficiently life dirt and debris.
  • Steerable Technology for tight turns and easy maneuverability around furniture, corners, and tight spaces. (This is my favourite feature actually. I don’t think I have ever had a vacuum here that is so maneuverable. It pivots effortlessly. )
  • Only 14 pounds with wand and tools onboard for easy use.
  • AllergenBlock Technology prevents pet dander, dirt, dust, and other particulates from re-entering the air.

Conquer Your Messes with Hoover Air Steerable

I have tested, used and owned many vacuums here. I’m a bit of a vacuum fiend. Every vacuum really has the same purpose but it’s the technology and the weight that are the details that change it up every time. So, when I get a chance to see something truly new on a vacuum I enjoy sharing that and using it too.

In fact, the Hoover Air Steerable Pet Upright Vacuum has impressive suction. Completely comparable to higher priced models in my opinion. Bagless vacuums just make sense and are really the standard now. Yes it’s lightweight but so are many others. The maneuverable head has also knocked my socks off.

I am not a person that loves cleaning, but I won’t judge you if you are someone who enjoys cleaning. What I do enjoy is a newer take on a old stand appliance and technology that makes life easier makes me happy. The Hoover Air Steerable Pet Upright Vacuum is powerful and lightweight, making it the best tool for vacuuming up all the junk that accumulates on your floors without being so hard on your back and shoulders like other vacuums can be. That’s doubly true if you have stairs.

The Hoover Air Steerable has made a big difference in the hair situation in our house. I’ve had this sweet little vacuum here for a couple of weeks now and I am using it often. I highly recommend it, especially if you have pets or kids who shed like pets.

  1. I went with a cheapo vacuum when my trusty Bissell finally bit the dust. But with two long haired cats, I need something more reliable (one that doesn’t make me unblock the vacuum hose every time I clean the floors).

  2. I need a new vacuum as the one I have is about 20 years old, the suction on it is terrible and I would love one that would pickup hair off my area rugs

  3. I need a vacuum that can keep up with our daily cleaning needs. One that is versatile and capable of manoeuvring into various spaces. My current vacuum cannot do these things. In fact, it’s on its last legs, it howls so loudly that it’s screaming to be retired. Thanks for the chance to win a new vacuum.

  4. I have two dogs and vacuum every two days just to keep up with them. My old vacuum has taken a beating! This would be great for the dander and allergens.

  5. I need a new vacuum, the one I have now is old and has lost suction. I always have to take it apart and clean it out before I start.

  6. I need a new vacuum because the powerhead on our central vac broke a couple of months ago and I’ve been using a little stick vac since but it is not doing a very good job.I keep debating whether I should replace the powerhead or buy a regular vacuum. Winning this would make my decision for me!

  7. I need a new vacuum because,we are using my moms old one,it’s too bulky for this size of an apartment. We also have two furbabies, one has very long hair, and the other shorter hair.Strangely enough the shorter fur is harder to pick up.Hubby is aging so he’s losing his hair and my hair although long down to my bum is thinning from chemo treatments. So there are our reasons in a nutshell. Thanks for the chance at this great giveaway!

  8. I’d love a new vacuum because mine is old and chunky which makes vacuuming a tedious and laborious task. I’d love to try this Hoover because I think I would be able to do a quick and efficient vacuuming job since it is so lightweight and maneuverable!

  9. I need a new vacuum because we have a lot of carpets to vacuum both upstairs and downstairs. A lightweight vacuum would be great for moving up and down the steps.

  10. oh my gosh this would be beyond amazing!! The vacuum we have is quite old, heavy and it gives off a not so nice smell when my husband uses it. I know he has been complaining for awhile that he would like a new one but it has not been in the budget

  11. With two long-haired cats and a pug who sheds constantly, I definitely need a vacuum that can keep up with all the hair and dander that can accumulate. This sounds like it would do the trick!

  12. I’m the floor keeper…the vacuumer, mopper, sweeper…I got a vacuum for Christmas years ago…great gift for me…but it’s on its final journey…I need a better one…this fits the bill! Thanks for your great giveaway!

  13. My current vacuum doesn’t suck which is the problem lol. I have to clean the same spots over and over until I’m satisfied- I think it’s close to 9 years old now and really it’s not energy efficient or easy to use.. oh and is SO LOUD!!

  14. current vacuum is geriatric. it’s getting hard to find bags for it. thanks for the chance to win a new one.

  15. I need a new vacuum because the one I currently have is lacking suction and I would need to run my vacuum over and over the same spot to pick up dog and human hair!!

  16. Lightweight is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m so exhausted to carry my current vacuum up & down stairs. Just makes me not even want to vacuum. Hoover has always been a trusted brand & I would love to own this also for the easy steering. Would make cleaning the house way less of a chore!

  17. mine is broken and i am using my small handheld not useful when you have a hairy husky and 2 cats and a kido who gets more food on floor than in his mouth

  18. I could use a new vacuum as mine is older and suction is not the same as it used to be. Also with kids and animals I try to clean as much as I can.

    1. Oh this I really understand. My husband also works in that industry and comes home covered in wood shavings and dust often.

  19. Our vacuum is nice but it’s over 10 years old and we only have that one it’s quite heavy. Would be nice to have a light back up one.

  20. I’ve never had a pet vacuum and with a cat I would love to have one. I’m sure it would be better than this old sweeper I have. Thanks for the opportunity.

  21. This vacuum looks so awesome! My current vaccum is on its way out as it barely has suction anymore, so this would be perfect! Thanks for the awesome giveaway 🙂

  22. Our vacuum is fifteen years old and my husband keeps fixing it. I think it’s time to retire it and make house cleaning easier on me before we have our baby in October.

  23. Our Kenmore vacuum died about 2 months ago. I do have a small stick vacuum I’ve been using, but with a big-shedding large dog, I certainly would appreciate a more substantial vacuum. Thanks for the chance!

  24. I still have the vacuum my mom purchased me when I moved out on my own when I was 18 years old. That was 15 years ago. It’s time for an upgrade!

  25. I need a vacuum becauseim a single mother to an autistic boy who enjoys making messes on a daily basis and I also have a very big cat that sheds more than I can explain. Did I mention that I don’t even own a vacuum currently and I get on my hands and knees to clean everything? That’s why.. lol

  26. My vacuum is on it’s last legs – between the cat hair, my hair, and random kitty litter scattered about, it has earned a retirement! I need a new vacuum to help keep all of the dust, grit, and fluff under control!!!

  27. I need a new quality vacuum because they just don’t build them like they used to. I need a vacuum that’s going to pick up the fur on the first pass, every.single.time.

  28. we had one years ago but when moved to this rental we donated it as it was all hardwood floors and the little area rug I had I would just sweep, now we are moving into our first home and it has carpet so we need to get one

  29. I need a new vacuum that actually has suction! This vacuum looks awesome 🙂 I would definitely put it to good use in my home! Thanks for the chance to win!

  30. My roommate has two cats and while I have always been allergic they were outside a great deal or roaming the large four bedroom house. Now that we have moved into a third floor two bedroom condo my allergies hate me so bad. I would use this vacuum every day multiple times to suck up cat. so much cat.

  31. My vacuum is 25 years old and there is a crack in the hose that I have tried to duct tape but it really doesn’t have the suction that it once did. With 2 indoor cats and a dog I need a good vacuum to keep up with all the fur.

  32. Well my current vacuum is over 15 years old and starts to burn and smell after a few minutes of usage. I also have 5 daughters with long hair plus myself so I’m constantly sweeping where I can but the carpets definitely need a good vacuum that knows how to handle long hair! Thanks for the chance to win!

  33. I need this because it would help to clean up without me getting so tired……. this being light weight and swivel would be perfect as its hard to sweep with my heavy “old” sweeper!!!

  34. we have 3 dogs that enjoy leaving hair around, and our current vacuum is bulky i cannot drag it up and downstairs.

  35. I lost all my belonging last year, and currently am starting over and rebuilding. We are using a really cheap $20 carpet sweeper style broom at the moment (mostly I just use a regular broom to sweep the carpet). This would be amazing, thanks for the chance.

  36. I need a new vacuum because the brush motor burnt out in my current machine and I have two long haired cats! You can see why the brush does a lot of hard work in my house!

  37. I need this because it will also save me money not having to buy bags and this would be so much easier to clean with and will have more suction because of a bag not being full and having to change all the time!!

  38. One dog and two cats – I don’t vacuum enough. Or I can’t vacuum enough. I have a Dyson, and love it, but it’s getting old. I’d love to try this one.

  39. Our vacuum went to Hoover Heaven two weeks ago. Guess it didn’t like cleaning up drywall dust.
Needless to say, a new one is definitely on the wish list.

  40. My 20 yr old vacuum needs an update and The Hoover Air Steerable Pet Vacuum would be perfect for our household of adults and grandchildren. Thank you.

  41. I have several stair steps with carpet to clean just inside my front door to the living room. The vacuum I have now is heavy and it is hard to sweep the steps and get up and down. I am not young anymore as I once was…I am a senior and I need a vacuum to make cleaning more pleasurable and less of a chore.

  42. I borrowed an old one from my mother so that I wouldn’t have to lug upstairs with my bad back. It’s not that great though.

  43. I would love to win because this vacuum sounds like it’d be perfect for our home. Ours is an older vacuum, the filters in it are broken and have been glued back together several times, the suction isn’t good at all anymore (i’m always vacuuming the same spot over and over just to get rid of pet hairs on our carpets which then actually takes me a longer time to vacuum) and no matter how many times we wash the filters and clean out our vacuum every time we use it it gives out a really smelly odor.

  44. I don’t need just ANY vacuum…. I need THIS vacuum because it has so many great features that I would look for in a vacuum. I have allergies to dust and dander….so with that said, this vacuum would be perfect as it has the AllergenBlock Technology that prevents pet dander, dirt, dust, and other particulates from re-entering the air. It fits best with my likes and choices in deciding on what type I would buy and it has even more options I’d choose.

  45. i need a new vac cleaner. i got one a few yrs ago, but it is so heavy and hard to maneuver. i live in the country so i need to vacuum almost everyday. i also have 2 dogs so i need one that has excellent suction.

  46. As. summer begins to fade away and autumn sets in, the debris of crunchy leaves shall be tracked through my home on the daily. That is why I need a new vacuum.

  47. I need this vacuum so I can give my heavy one to my son to use! 🙂 This one’s better for me in many ways!! Yesterdays entry for this post did not take in the wigget for some reason…….so re-posting same message today again. 🙂

  48. I need a new vacuum because this one might make my old carpet look newer and cleaner than it has been looking. Carpet’s old just like me!! lol.

  49. I need a new vacuum because I love that feeling you get after the first use when you look into the collection chamber and realize that your old vacuum really wasn’t cutting it.

  51. Would like to be able to have a vacuums on every level of the house so I don’t have carry it around up & down all the time.

  52. I need a new vacuum ,because I do not own one,,and I have 2 furball cats that shed lots of hair and a little doggie,,this would be wonderful, thanks! 🙂

  53. Our vacuum will not pick up anything anymore. It is an older model and I think it has just about had it. I would love a new vacuum so I can have clean floors and rugs again.

  54. I need a new vacuum because the one I have was my husbands when I moved here and married him….. I hate it. It’s old, heavy and does NOT pick up dirt like it should. Might have been ok for him..he’s stronger to maneuver it and It will not go up and down the stairs to clean easily and I’m not strong enough to fight with it. So I use a little hand car vac to do the stairs….so inconvenient…. get the picture? ya its a struggle. lol

  55. I find the front entrance is so hard to keep clean and my current vac always throws the dirt back at my feet. This one you have for the giveaway sounds like it would be of great benefit to me.
