March Break #WordlessWednesday #skiing

March break
These are some of my favourite March break pictures

These aren’t the best pictures I have ever taken, but they are some of my favourites from the last week. It was spring break here and so I spent my time with two of the little people I love most in the universe. My husband had to work. So did I, but I played hookie during the day a bit and went skiing every afternoon with my kids. Ainsley did ski camp at a local ski hill and together we all improved in our confidence and ability on skis. We only just learned this month. I wrote about learning to ski as a family here in case you haven’t read it yet. Up until then we had never ever had skis on.

And Ainsley might have had one of the best March break weeks of her life. She lives for sports so this ski camp after a weekend at Mont Tremblant was like heaven for her.

How did you spend March break?

Oh I agree 100 % Fariha. The local ski hill (ski bump) doesn’t compare at all but it is a place to practice until we are able to return again.

I’ve never tried skiing. At one point in highschool I saved up to go on this special trip to learn to ski, but there was some sort of terror threat and the bridge to Michigan was closed and the trip was cancelled. I took it as a sign that I wasn’t meant to ski and haven’t really looked into it again since. LOL. Seeing you and your girls learn at Mount Tremblant makes me want to give it a shot. I bet my big kid would love it too.

Oh wow. That’s unfortunate when that happens. Thanks for following and commenting Deanna. We really surprised ourselves. (mostly I surprised myself by not breaking anything. The older I get the less terrified I am apparently.)
