4 SIMPLE HALLOWEEN PARTY GAMES
Bobbing For Apples:
This classic has been around for what seems like forever. Simple, fun and easy to set up it is a game everyone will love. All you need is a tub filled with water and a few apples. Have kids hold their hands behind their backs and bend over to try to grab an apple with their mouth using only their teeth and not their hands.
Pumpkin Carving Contest:
This is great for older kids to do! Grab several smaller pumpkins, a carving kit or two and have the kids create their own custom Jack-O-Lanterns. Choose a judge from the adults or other kids to pick the winner!
Pin The Nose On The Witch:
Instead of the classic Pin the Tail On The Donkey, make a new fun game of similar origins. Print out a picture of a witch. Print an extra large picture of a witches nose. Cut out the nose and attach a push pin to it. Blindfold kids and spin them around three times. Point them in the direction of the witch and see who can get closest to the right place for the nose.
Toilet Paper Mummy:
Grab a few extra rolls of toilet paper and create teams of 3-4 people. One person on the team will be the Mummy. The others will be the designers of his/her mummy costume. Each team gets 1-2 rolls of toilet paper and must wrap their mummy as quickly as possible. Whoever gets done first with a completely wrapped mummy wins.
It doesn’t take a lot of money or even time to create these simply Halloween party games for kids. Not only are these classics easy on you, the parent, the kids will have a blast with them too. You can embellish any of these games with unique things. Add other fruit or even other foods in the “bobbing” game. Give kids markers, paint or stickers to make their pumpkin really stand out. Dress up these games any way you want to make your kids party the hit of the neighborhood!

Sounds like fun. I bet the kids will have a blast this holiday season.
We played toilet paper mummy last year for my sons classroom party. Took many photos even with the teacher all wrapped up so much fun!
Those all sound like so much fun. I love the TP mummy idea.
I used to throw a party for my preschool aged children and we had so much fun, miss those days.
What great, fun games. Bobbing for apples has to be my favorite!
So many great ideas here! I miss celebrating Halloween when my kids were little!
Sounds like quite a list. Kids definitely would not get bored!
This is a great list. The best games are the easiest games. If you try to get kids to play a complicated party game, you’ll loose their interest fast.
What great ideas! The mummy one is right up my ally would be so much fun to go out as a mummy for Halloween!
These would be great at a Halloween party!
These sound like a lot of fun! My daughter did bobbing for apples at school last week, and she loved it!
I have always wanted to bob for apples. Now that I think of it, it is kind of gross though since everyone’s spit is in that water.
Those sound like games I would enjoy playing with my kids. Thanks for sharing them.
Great games/activities! I know my kids and their friends will love all these ideas 🙂
I think the mummy one sounds fun! Also, bobbing for apples can be fun as long as the water is changed out often LOL!
We always play toilet paper mummy… it is so much fun and everyone has a blast. Great list. Thanks for sharing
These are great ideas, My youngest wants a Halloween themed party for his birthday, so these will come in handy.
I think I’m going to have to play some of these with the kiddos! We are going to be doing Halloween parties at school so perhaps I’ll bring some ideas with 😉
Bobbing for apples never gets old! Thanks for sharing your lists.
