This Things to Do in Los Angeles post has been sponsored by Cheapoair.com
It’s easy to lose yourself in the second largest city in the United States. There are so many things to do in Los Angeles. That’s why you need a gameplan, a list of spots you simply cannot afford to miss.

It can be difficult to find reliable information on Los Angeles, but now thankfully CheapOAir has resources to help you make informed choices for your family. Don’t miss this video. https://youtu.be/20GS_MKcLnw CheapOair is producing new videos each month expanding on the Things To Do video series to cover destinations around the country, and the globe. When traveling, your list of experiences is key to having a successful adventure. CheapOair understands this and that’s why they have created their “Things To Do” series.
It’s been a few years since visiting Los Angeles. My younger daughter has been asking to go visit Los Angeles and do the whole nine yards together. We have more than a few of these hotspots on our L.A girl’s vacation list.

Table of Contents
Here are My Top Picks for Things to Do in Los Angeles
Universal Studios Hollywood
A film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley, Universal Studios Hollywood. One of the oldest and most famous of all the Hollywood film studios still in use, Universal Studios Hollywood is a tourist Mecca. Stroll Down Hollywood BoulevardWalk down the famed Hollywood Boulevard and keep your eyes open for stars. Parts of the boulevard are popular tourist destinations, primarily the fifteen blocks between La Brea Avenue east to Gower Street where the Hollywood Walk of Fame is located.
Disneyland Park
Who doesn’t love Disney? Disneyland Park is fun for the whole family and it is simply iconic. See the only theme park designed under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.

Griffith Observatory
With a stunning overview of the city, Griffith Observatory is the best spot to see the city at night. Griffith Observatory overlooks the Los Angeles Basin and is always free, so FYI that means it is also busy all the time.
Venice Beach Pier
The famous amusement park, with roller coaster and beach nearby is a must see for everyone. Ride the rides and take all of the pictures! Instagram worthy location, indeed!
Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive
Tops my list of things to do in Los Angeles. Why? Because, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive have been immortalized in so many movies. Also, hello? Any chance to shop while on a trip, right?
Runyon Canyon
Need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area for a bit? Check out Runyon Canyon, a gorgeous opportunity to stretch your legs and go for a hike. LalaLand can be completely overwhelming unless you have some time to decompress too. You’ll find it here.
La Brea Tar Pits and Museum
La Brea Tar Pits is a national natural landmark. For tens of thousands of years asphalt has seeped up through the ground here in La Brea. This is a unique area to see and one of my picks for cool things to do in Los Angeles.
So, What is “Things to Do?”
