This time of year, when snow days seem inevitable and school lets out for holidays, there are bound to be moments when you might want to tear your hair out. Kids get bored easily in my experience and they seem to need a lot of things to do. So where to start? You might consider googling snow day activities or free printables. There are so many brilliant and fun printables or coloring pages available on blogs like thrifty momma’s tips. As New Year’s Eve approaches, it can be a totally fun opportunity to get the kids in on the action. Every year we typically do a fun New Year’s Eve skate at Victoria Park in our home town. I love that the kid’s fireworks happen at 9 p.m. and we can all celebrate another coming year of opportunity and growth together. This year I will hand my kids one of these: Children’s New Year’s Resolutions printables and have them plan some things they want to get out of their year.

Children’s New Year’s Resolutions are fun to do together. The activity makes kids think about self improvement. It helps them to plan sometimes. It also encourages literacy and writing skills, even over Christmas holidays. My kids were born to draw, write stories and craft. They would do that all day if I let them. I hope this Children’s New Year’s Resolutions printable helps to get the kids in on the festive celebrations this year.

You can print this one of three ways.

Print it by right clicking and saving image above.

Click the link above that says my resolution.ps and download and print (that’s a PDF and it tends to be clearer.) OR you can head to Pinterest and print from there too.
