Cooking With Kids – Yummiest Peanut Butter Cups
I couldn’t resist this Pinterest inspired recipe for my youngest child’s favourite treat in the entire world – well, other than pizza – Homemade Peanut Butter Cups with sea salt.
These are so easy but first let me state clearly that this is a Pinterest recipe. It is not mine originally, but now I am so adding this to me on line recipe box. We duplicated all the details and took our photos and ended up with this. The original recipe comes http://www.blueeyedbakers.com/
You don’t even have to cook it or bake it, just melt stuff and let it harden. Super easy for kids.
1/4 cup of butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk
Line a muffin tin or tiny muffin tin. In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter and peanut butter for 45seconds. Stir until smooth and then add the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Combine. Distribute evenly among the muffin tins. Put in fridge for 15 minutes. Melt semi sweet chocolate and milk, stirring in the microwave at 25 second intervals. Just until chocolate is melted. Add the chocolate layer to the peanut butter bottom. Put in fridge for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt. Try to resist.
These look so good and super easy! The kids are going to try them this weekend.
Great idea! They were too good.
