|Ainsley one year at the Kids Expo|
Well there is no shortage of things to do this Father’s Day weekend if you are staying in town. The Fringe Festival is on through the weekend and so is Kid’s Expo. Kid’s Expo is a fun event at Victoria Park for kids and families. There are rides and treats and fun face-painting type things to do for the weekend and the weather looks perfect for it.
If you are seeking a gift for Dad there are still a few ideas.
Shoppers Drug Mart has some excellent deals on things like a Wii system $129. If you haven’t got any other ideas give Dad the gift of gaming. Also tons of cameras on sale there too.
Future Shop and Best Buy have some great deals on netbooks and DVD players. (I saw one marked down to $59 at Best Buy.) Future Shop has some three day only deals – one is a great netbook for $199.
If you want a more green type of gift then visit Reforest London’s web site and buy him a tree for $50 or $100. In the spring or late fall you will be emailed and you’ll get to go plant it together. For that matter if you’d rather just buy him a tree and plant it in your own yard. Watching it grow strong together can be very enjoyable.
Sears also has lots of clothing items marked down 50% off and Children’s Place (not for Dad) has some 50% off clothing deals for kids.
