I have been hunting for adorable accessories for a long time and had almost given up on finding anything unique. As a travel writer and blogger I need function of course but also want stylish accessories and often have trouble finding them. But no longer!
It’s time to level up my Instagram game taking the cutest selfies with this Blue Leopard Faux Fur Velvet Caviar phone case and my adorable new winter hat. Love that the clever new case provides full protection with shock absorbers, screen protection and bumpers while looking FABOOSH. Not that we ever fumble the phone, or drop it of course! Actually, when you use your phone as much as I do it’s inevitable that you drop it several times a week. Call it a job hazard. So protection is VITAL. The Faux Fur print caught my eye immediately, because it is unique and fun, unlike any previous case I’ve had or used.
And as for my hat. I realized late last year in Collingwood and Wyoming too that all of my hats have someone’s name on them…like a company, or a travel partner, and while that’s great for some events, and destinations too, it simply doesn’t work everywhere. This month I am working with numerous travel partners, which means I need a lot of photos. Hundreds of photos inside and out but mainly outside. Many of my winter trips demand outdoor activities and long periods of time in the snow. Snowshoeing, ice fishing, sleeping in an ice hotel, and skiing are just a few of the great activities we will be doing together. So, my new, fun, faux fur case will protect my iPhone all day long on the mountains in Vermont and skiing in Maine and maybe even tubing down Everest in Quebec at Valcartier. And the hat is the perfect topper in my opinion too.
Already, I have worn my cute beige hat ice fishing, tubing, and snow shoeing with my youngest girl on a sponsored trip to the Briars Resort and Spa in York Durham Headwaters. Huge thanks to Wayne Nguyen for taking our photos. It looked cute and kept me warm too of course. We all have worn our hats into hot tubs this month too after skiing. This beanie is a great après-ski hat too.
For years I rejected hats despite living in Canada, because I have curly hair. Curly haired gals know our hair tangles easily. Hats often make my hair a gigantic matted mess. This one doesn’t seem to do that. So, that’s a bonus.
