Sending Virtual Comfort and Hanes
Every woman knows someone who has been touched by cancer. And if you know someone right now struggling with the incredible challenge of a health care battle that is so emotionally and physically draining you know it’s not always easy to find the words that say what you mean in light of the terrible daily reality. There are cards and presents and flowers. And they all have their place. Nothing is as meaningful or helpful to a family dealing with cancer as real acts of support such as offering child care, or bringing food or driving a loved one to their doctor’s appointment. These days, with families being so scattered around the globe and friends too, it can be even trickier to know what to do. Nothing will ever take the place of an act of compassion and kindness delivered in person, but when you aren’t there or cannot be present in person, you can still send your love with Hanes new virtual comfort app on Facebook.
Now Hanes and Facebook will help you send a virtual comfort package to a friend or loved one. Every package you send also triggers a $1 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (upto $25,000) to help fund early cancer detection and fund mammograms for those who can’t afford them. It’s as simple as a click on the pink tab on the Hanes Facebook Page. Hanes created the app to bring comfort to their fans struggling with cancer and other illnesses. The comfort package is fully customizable with photos, videos, recipes, T-shirt designs, music and messages. To make one now visit the amazing app at http://on.fb.me/HanesPink
No better way to tell a friend you are thinking of her right now, no matter the health care struggle. Find the tab now and take a moment to make it personal. Take a moment to say something like this:
“I am thinking of you and wishing you strength and courage on this journey. I may not be able to walk with you down this path, but I am beside you and you are always in my thoughts and my heart.”
