Subway Sandwiches Get Spicy #BBQSeoulFood #Giveaway

Subway sandwiches have become a road trip tradition with my family. It’s true. The running joke is that my kids can spot a Subway in any city we go to, and so far, we’ve tested this Subway superpower quite a bit this year! The girls can be half asleep staring at an IPOD when suddenly we hear – “SUBWAY!” Every time we take a road trip, my daughter asks to stop at Subway! Sometimes we barely start out on the road when she begins asking for Subway.

Our most recent trip to Quebec was no exception. After we spent our final day enjoying the swimming and other activities at The Fairmont Chateau Montebello, we hopped into the car and stopped for Subway sandwiches for dinner as we passed through Gatineau and Ottawa and headed home. Subway is perfect for healthy and quick eating on a road trip and they are open late. How do I know this? Well, Subway has saved us so many times when coming back from Pearson on a late night/early morning flight.

New Subway Sandwiches Satisfy Canadian Appetite for Something Different

Subway has so many healthy choices that I never mind when my kids ask to stop on a road trip. There are always new flavours. And lately I have even seen some gluten free breads offered! That makes me feel good. There’s something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Subway recently introduced a new Korean BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich to add to their line of delicious options. According to Subway, the tastes of Canadians are changing. These days, we’re looking for more culturally diverse foods to break up the monotony of everyday eating that’s become so…lacklustre.

This week my oldest daughter went away to camp so I figured it was time to have a special Subway lunch at home with Ainsley. I have heard so much about the newest Subway sandwich that I couldn’t wait to try it. The Korean BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich is something entirely different for Subway. It’s sweet with a big hit of heat. Have your water or Subway beverage handy.

A recent Mintel survey found that 72% of Canadians are turning to ethnic-inspired dishes to break up the aforementioned monotony of every day boredom. The new addition to the line of Subway sandwiches perfectly combines sweet and heat, appealing to Canadians who want to try new and different flavors while still eating at the restaurant they know and trust for quality, healthy, fresh sandwiches – Subway!

The Korean BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich  features tender, slow-roasted pulled pork tossed in a savory glaze infused with soy, garlic, gochujan paste, and sesame oil. Subway recommends topping it with spinach, cucumber, green peppers, and onions. Yum! It just so happens that my entire family loves pulled pork so we couldn’t wait to try this Subway variation.

Subway Sandwiches Just Got Spicy. YUM!

The new Korean BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is just what Canadians have been looking for. Trust me on this, or try one for yourself. It’s a spicy sandwich that you will love.
