Luxear Fridge Containers Organizing Fresh Food

    April 19, 2022 / No Comments

If you are anything like me at all then you buy a fair bit of local fresh produce. But, you don’t always get around to eating it before it spoils. Well, Luxear Fridge containers are changing that. I received product for consideration here. My opinion is all my own and it is truthful. My fridge can sometimes be like the black hole. Food goes in but gets lost in there sometimes. This year, we are all about the Produce Guyz fresh produce delivery so we always have fresh fruit and vegetables on hand. I like the convenience of the delivery and the cost is great too. Now, with Luxear Fridge…

    September 28, 2021 / No Comments

There are a trillion tasks to take care of when you are moving. From packing to scheduling movers and sometimes even setting up new schools for kids. The jobs seem endless. Morning Routine Checklist Organizing and Helping Kids with a Schedule

    August 12, 2021 / No Comments

Now more than ever maintaining a morning routine is in everyone’s best interests. Kids thrive on routine and routines have frankly been hard to find during the pandemic at all. Post contains affiliate links as a service to readers. I make a small commission off of purchases made via qualifying links. When my daughter was small, because of her specific disability, she needed routines more than a neurotypical child would. Her body and brain just did not work without that consistent routine. A lot of kids work that way. Many need support and constant reassurance that they are safe and routines do that. Also, when my daughter was small she…

    December 28, 2020 / No Comments

What does your child’s day look like right now? Is it a bit like a battle getting them out of bed to start? This post contains affiliate links as a service to readers. I receive a small commission via purchases from qualifying links. For Some Organizing and Planning Can Be Hard When my daughter was small she needed a lot of help getting organized. She still does actually. But, she can, for the most part, organize using strategies that we have used over the years. So, the difference now versus when she was in elementary school is that she now is old enough to be able to remember some of…

London Ontario Lifestyle Bloggers – Local Influencers

    July 5, 2017 /

London Ontario Lifestyle Bloggers are actually quite a force of nature. In fact I have seen so many over the years since I began writing on line. As some of you know Thrifty Mommas Tips began in 2009. It was a way to get back into writing after a lengthy absence from my job as a journalist at the London Free Press. Happy to say I am still here and loving what I do. I attended an event in Arva last night and met a new blogger and we got talking. She asked are there many London Ontario Lifestyle bloggers? Well, in fact, yes there are I said. Local London crafty…

Spring Cleaning Made Simple – All the Things You Usually Forget #CloroxMeansClean

    April 24, 2017 /

Spring cleaning is a great way to get a fresh start for the season. Seems like over the winter months we accumulate so much stuff. When the weather changes it’s time to give the house a good purge. You might as well clean too. I started reading Spark Joy this week by Marie Kondo, and it has inspired me to start the spring cleaning process too. From getting the dust bunnies out from behind the couches that never get moved to flipping mattresses and changing the sheets, spring cleaning is time to give your home a good purge and clean. But even when you think you did a thorough job…

Printable Pantry Labels to Help Keep You Organized

    February 6, 2015 /

It’s still early enough in the year that you can get away with tackling that organizing goal now. It’s always better late than never. My immediate organizing goal is going to have to be my pantry. Why? Because I keep buying things and filling it up and then forgetting what’s in there. Same truth can be said of my freezer however. But the pantry is first. If you are like me at all, then your pantry cupboard is a mess of boxes and containers and cake mixes and bread and there is often no logic to the shelves themselves. So, I thought these Printable Pantry Labels might come in…

How do you Make Painting Easier? #Giveaway

    January 19, 2015 /

My husband is a handy guy. Thank goodness for that. He paints and builds and fixes. That saves a lot of money over time. Sadly we don’t always have the time for him to do the big picture projects, or even the emergency plumbing kinds of things, but he is the go to guy for helping. He lends himself to friends and family for wallpaper and painting and general fixit carpentry kinds of things. He is also very good at painting. He has a really old painting and wallpapering tray and kit and it sits in our garage waiting for someone to use it. That thing gets used about once a…
