Truth be told I was feeling a bit sad and nostalgic this Valentine’s Day. My kids are older and Valentine’s Day no longer holds childlike magic for them. My youngest daughter and I had a chat recently about her feeling too old to write out Valentine’s cards any more. BUT, then Hallmark sent a batch of their cute and fun Valentine’s Day Treasures for 2017 and I am OVER THAT entirely.

Valentines gifts from Hallmark are timeless. There are cute items to suit all ages and all of your many loves. There is a gorgeous wristlet this year that is FOR MOM (i.e. MINE) I have been looking for one for two cruises now. So that’s two years. Now I have a sweet pink and black marbled wristlet purse which is perfect for special occasions and travel. You can buy it for $19.95 at Hallmark Canada.

The LUV YOU WATTS Lightbulb wine bottle stopper is funny and PUNNY too. At $12.95 it’s a cute quirky little present for the wine lover you know. In our house puns are pretty common, so I like that of course. The Hallmark Signature glasses case would be a sweet gift for your Mom, or your friend. The hot pink colour is cheery. Love the gorgeous wrapping options and all the pretty gift bags too.

But what really caught my interest and lifted my spirits are the adorable little Emoji Valentine’s Cards. I have a 12-year-old who might be convinced to write a few cute Valentines because of these Emojis. They are on fleek, as she’d say. Most adorable of all the Valentine’s gifts though – the glasses and the coffee mug. CHEERS to US stemless wineglasses are dishwasher safe. AND they are a steal at regularly $19.95 marked down to the promotional price of $9.95. LOVE stemless wineglass. We have never owned any stemless wineglasses so these are going to be well used here.

And I was thinking about giving this one away until my daughter read it aloud and fell in love with the saying. Falcon Mug is ceramic and $12.95. What’s so special about that? This is what it says: You are Falcon Awesome! LOL. Love the play on words. So cheeky and fun. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Let someone special know how much you think of them with this Falcon Mug.

There’s also an apple paperweight for someone who works in an office, or a teacher you know and there’s a Lips Mirror Compact as well. The compact is cute and feminine and $16.95 – it comes in a gift box and has a regular and a magnifying mirror on the inside.

Colour Block cork journals is for the writer or dreamer in your life. We adore all of the gorgeous notebooks and journals that Hallmark sells year round. They make beautiful and thoughtful gifts. The use of cork in the line this year feels earthy and fun at the same time. This journal has a pop of colour and a gold accent. It is $16.95 and has 160 pages.
