nyc

Although we’ve all seen the popular media version of New York streets with bustling crowds and flying elbows in the movies, visiting New York City with family can actually be a wonderful experience. 8 Places to See When Visiting New York City

There’s no shortage of sites and entertainment to take in when visiting New York City, and much of it is family friendly. It has so much culture, history, and more to offer that it’s the perfect spot for a family vacation. In fact I have been a couple of times in recent years and although people perceive New York as dangerous I have felt pretty safe travelling there with friends and for blogging conferences. I look forward to being able to bring my teenage theatre loving daughter with me one day soon.

American Museum of Natural History

Almost everyone loves a museum, and no kid can say no to dinosaur bones. That makes the American Museum of Natural History a great spot to visit on your family getaway. This Upper West Side fixture has wings devoted to dinosaurs, ocean life, and space. They even have a 94-foot blue whale model. That’s cool and memorable.
