Teethease Necklaces and Teething Jewelry – Interview with the Inventor

My daughter Ainsley chewing on her newest tool for Sensory Processing Disorder, the Teethease Necklaces. Sensory Processing and Special Needs We are way too old for teethers in our house. Our youngest child is seven, but when the option to review this fabulous product line called Teethease Necklaces came to my attention, I was thrilled, because I like having options and I adore having BPA and lead-free items. For people who don’t understand, a lot of children with sensory processing disorder, or autism, need oral input. They chew a lot on sleeves, fingers, jewelry, even toys. It is an organizing…

Cooking With Kids – Linky – Crockpot Love

Crockpot meet kids. Kids meet crockpot. Someone asked me this morning what one of my favourite things to cook with kids is – and honestly anything in my crockpot is a favourite. No fuss. No muss. Healthy dinners and so easy to do. I used to look after little people here. Lots of babies and tots and even school age children passed through our house before and after school. Yesterday my number was up. Well, almost. On the first day of the Rafferty murder trial in London, when our local courthouse turned into a very busy hub of activity and media from all over Ontario descended into the centre…

Cooking With Kids Linky – What’s On This Week?

Well beautiful people it is Thursday and you know that means I am cooking with my kids in the kitchen. So what is on the agenda this week? Lemon Meringue Pie. That’s right, eldest daughter and I had a great time baking a pie. We started with a pie shell (store bought and then Shiriff Lemon Pie mix) and then we made one of my favourite desserts of all time. My dolly loves lemon meringue pie as much as I do and frankly she had a sick day – you know one of those sick days that starts coughing hacking and feverish and then…
