Winning $10,000 with White Bread – Fun Sushi Recipe -Giveaway

I saw this on Pinterest recently and knew it had to be Demspter’s White bread. Don’t get me wrong, we eat a lot of whole wheat and 16 grains and various heavy duty flax breads throughout the week, but there are times when only white bread will do. Like the day after Christmas when turkey is screaming for a bed of lettuce and mayonnaise sandwiched between the white bread. And this….how cute is this? Kid peanut butter and jelly sushi sandwiches. The key here is fresh white bread. Trim the crusts and spread a thin layer of each on top of one slice. Roll, use a sharp knife and make it look better than this – I dare you!
Not sure who loved this more, me, or the kids. I only wish I had thought of it sooner. My kids would have loved this when they were younger. Fun food. I love to cut their school sandwiches with cookie cutters too to give their lunches a pick me up. The cookie cutters work well on soft white bread.
Head here to Dempsters Facebook page right now and link up a white bread recipe to win a $10,000 prize. https://www.facebook.com/Dempsters?sk=app_254553244581393

Turns out I am not alone – an estimated 72 per cent of people like white bread for its freshness and soft texture.
Sometimes it’s just a fun thing to do – make a sandwich on old school white bread, now even fresher than ever before.
