Meet my new dance partner. I am actually not the world’s biggest cleaning fan. Happily my husband doesn’t seem to mind and often takes over the dishes, laundry and vacuuming.But this beautiful cordless vacuum has me changing my tune.

The Hoover Air Cordless Upright provides fifty minutes of cleaning and good suction power. It’s a full-size cordless, cyclonic vacuum that can clean your whole home using lithium-ion battery technology. The vacuum comes with two LithiumLife batteries and when combined; provides an average of 50 minutes of fade-free power to clean both carpets and floors. I have a mixture of floors and carpets and it switches easily between the two.

I love that my husband does housework and dishes and cleaning. Cleaning is not my thing but this Hoover is so light and fun.

The see through canister is curiously compelling. I know we clean, but there’s really this much dust? That’s stunning. The canister needs to be emptied every couple of uses.

This particular unit comes with two filters. The filter should be cleaned every three to four uses. It also comes with two lithium batteries and a charger. I find that I can vacuum my whole house and then recharge the battery. There is enough power to clean a 2,500 square foot home with no loss of suction and without recharging.

The WindTunnel 3.0 technology allows you to clean deep with three nozzle channels of powerful suction to capture dirt — other vacuums rely on one. The head of the vacuum swivels easily and I love that. I have an older vacuum with the canister that you drag that is not an upright and although my old vacuum has good suction it is a complete beast to lug around the house. Forget doing stairs with it. It’s heavy. This one is not!

  3. Balancing my job, husband, son, 2 dogs and 2 cats, it is extremely difficult to keep a clean house. At this current time I am vacuumless, so I primarily use a broom and dustpan to try and clean up the hardwood and I will try and hand brush my carpet of the hair that sits on top of it. My house is in desperate need of a vacuum!!!

  4. I don’t really *need* a new vacuum as our old canister one works just fine, but it would be so much handier to have a cordless one that isn’t so cumbersome to lug around.

    1. I was the same. I still have one but it’s old and heavy and this one is so simple to use. I love that I can grand it and whip upstairs and vacuum to kid’s rooms fast when I am taking a quick lunch break. So efficient.

  5. 2 cats & 2 dogs = a lot of hair, litter and crumbs – this is why I need a new vacuum. Need to replace an older one I have.

  6. The vacuum I have is on its last legs. The little spin brush in the head no longer spins and there is no wand so I cant do around edges. I am so frustrated with it right now I actually almost threw it away today lol. I have been looking at vacumms online for months but I just dont know what to get as I want something that works . I would love to try this

    1. Yes, he does most of the cleaning and laundry around here. Plus he put it together and was totally interested. But then he’s like wait don;t use that picture. LOL.

  31. I need a new vacuum because I recently ran over my vacuum cord and somehow it got caught up in the brush. I heard a loud noise and when I turned it off to check what was wrong, the cord had stripped a bit. It still works but I don’t trust it now so am in the market for a new one.

  32. I would love this vacuum because my current one scares me. It’s old, and the plug prong is always bent because I always manage to try to pull /extend the cord around the corner as far as possible. Thus, a cordless high quality vacuum would be such a treat
