Kidz Bop 24 and Christmas CD Review

style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My girls are musically at a challenging age. Oh, they love music. All kinds of music. My youngest got an iPod Nano for Christmas and so we have been adding tunes and constructing a Playlist for her. At nine-years-old, she loves a range of eclectic music _ from Michael Buble to Katie Perry. But some of the music she adores, or thinks she adores has lyrics I don’t want her repeating or hearing. So how do you juggle that?
Well KidzBop answers that question quite tidily, thank you. KidzBop Christmas arrived here on New Year’s Eve and my kids couldn’t wait to hear it. As we have been in moving mode, all our CD players are packed, so we had to do some creative listening. Finally we loaded up iTunes on the computer and had a dance party. KidzBop Christmas is a sweet traditional kid’s Christmas CD. This will be a staple here for next year when my daughters are both able to play it in their own rooms in our new home. KidzBop Christmas features songs from All I Want For Christmas Is You to I Saw Three Ships. There are 15 tracks and it ends with Auld Lang Syne. Holiday hits are sung by kids for kids. This one is a cute Christmas CD that’s a bit unique for children. I received a copy of the current CD. You can buy that one in stores, but the older versions of this CD are available at Amazon. Coolest Kidz Bop Christmas Eve
Kidz Bop 24 16 tracks that typically might contain adult lyrics, and makes them sweet and safe for young impressionable ears. I had a lot of fun listening to this one with the girls. Thrift Shop is a hoot and Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble is bang on. I love how talented these kids are when they sing and dance on commercials. Their voices are stunning on these tracks. Beauty and a Beat and Ho Hey are a couple of favourites for my kids. Alicia Keys Girl on Fire is incredible on this CD. It’s a great song to start and hearing a really young person nail the lyrics with confidence and skill is quite incredible.
Kidz Bop 24 and Kidz Bop Christmas are both lovely CDs for tweens who like popular musical acts. I received product for free to facilitate review. This is my honest opinion. These are both worth the money. But I wouldn’t mind Kidz Bop 24 staying for the long haul here. Christmas Kidz Bop is a hoot too and we’ll bring it out next year. But 24 will be played over and over in all likelihood, until it breaks or wears out.
